But getting a car working again after being parked up for years may not be as easy as it seems. Luckily there's an expert to help...

It's cool to see new school in old school though the whole body kits scene was my thing but everybody looks around and says today ricer back in the day that was really wanted the same way people like the stock yet lowered look with some Wheels both work the same depending on who you are

This car screams for one of those Kenwood head units that slides out and flips up a screen
With some lcd display that has a screen saver that we thought was really cool then
John Wiles or the game cube need for speed display and console like in F&F
I had one of those in my first impreza 😂😂😂
It also needs the flip down monitors from the ceiling.. and a fender exit nos purge kit to raise skirts.

the only person I like seeing on this channel more than Benny or Turbo Yoda, is Tuning Fork. He's such a good guy, always cheerful and has so much knowledge. Really enjoy learning from him.

if you know how electricity work is pretty easy to wire up you just need to find out which wire goes to each speaker and in most cases are standard colors so you can easily find on google

God I love this thing. I'm 30 and grew up in the car scene in America and this is straight out of 2fast2furious you never see them done up head to toe like this anymore. I still remember my buddy had a Chevy cavalier with a full blitz body kit and roof scoop that didn't go anywhere, but we thought that was the coolest car in the world and everyone was jealous lol
I guess it was the economy. People could spend an absolutely ridiculous amount of money on completely uninteresting cars like front wheel drive Lancers. I don't know anyone who could afford to do that now, or even if they could they're too aware that they really shouldn't. But fourteen year old me was glad those guys did it back then because I lived for these silly cars in all the magazines. Stil have a huge box of em I'll probably never read again.
I still have a running and road worthy 2nd generation early 90's 3.1 Liter 60 degrees OHV V6 MPFI, Chevy Cavalier RS.
I like the older cars better.
I still have early 2000's Chevy Venture van too, I like it alot.
The head lights projects bright white lights.
The oem muffler was rusted badly, I installed custom muffler on it, I think its the FlowMaster 40 series, sounds great.
Chrome exhaust tip.
16 inch chrome Grand Prix rims and sport tires.
Bright red calipers and drums, brembo rotors and brake pads.
Custom made K&N air intake system, with filter.
Smoked tail lights.
In great shape too.
Early 2000's great time for autos, both oem and custom.

Yeeh I would change the belt before even turning the engine since it has 6 years of age, had a Mitsu Galant D4 with the same engine and it broke during some hard driving in the woods ^^ and almost all of my valves was sitting in my piston.

@@GreensladeNZ It's not so much how old it is, but how long it has sat in the same postion. It can become brittle, crack and break if not frequently ran..
Especially in high horsepower applications.

It's reassuring that for all their tools Moog removes the oil filter with a screwdriver same as me.
notice how he pulled out the screwdriver when his wrench wasnt working. He was spinning it the wrong way at the start lol
They make oil filter wrenches of all sorts this should only be done if it's absolutely seized or you tighten rather than loosen the filter. You will most likely mangle the filter (making it harder to remove) as most people punch strait through it giving you no leverage
It's easier to grip the filter with a belt though
@@stiprus_garsas yep that works they even have a filter wrench with a belt just hammer and screwdriver is the worst way to do it
Use a thick rubber glove when removing it next time. Thank me later

To test If it is leather put a lighter on the "leather" and if it burns it isn't leather but if it doesn't burn and just gets warm its leather. Keep in mind you keep the lighter on there for like 3 to 5 seconds
