The rom hack used in the video is a bit outdated with the 1.5 update for the 5 DX rom hack releasing not too long before this video.
But the points to World V still holds up well.

9:17 The fact that Mega Man V has alien invader robots, yet Dr. Wily is still the mastermind somehow boggles my mind so much. Could they have one classic game where Dr. Wily isn't somehow behind everything?
yeah I have no idea how wily found that alien civilization, but good for him i guess!
There is a theory that Stardroids were made by Wily and only pretendet to be aliens, because they look too much like other Robot Masters
Even though i have no evidence to prove it, i've always believed the only actual alien robot in megaman v was sunstar. everyone else was an elaborate wily bot.
Nope, gotta have Wily in there somewhere, as he's the second-most recognizable face of the franchise. It is a nice change how like in MMX8 he's not the true final enemy.

The problem with that is however that latter lore cards will claim that Wily designed his own gravity Robots based on data he extracted from Saturn.
There would also be the case of Shadowman often being presumed as just an alien machine Willy simply reactivated and put his own number one (I mean all of MM11 Robots got Wily numbers despite all being stolen so Wily putting his number on machines he didn't make seems to be in character)
Fun fact: this is not the last time Quint is relevant. The JP exclusive sequel to Megaman & Bass called Challenger From The Future had you fight the prototype who hid himself as he upgraded himself. The end result... is arguably a bigger letdown than Quint. Despite being the final boss and hyped up as someone who caused so much destruction he ruined the peaceful future Wily saw, he has three attacks and he only uses one per phase.
He's still a 100 times better than Quint tho.

Fun fact! I'd named my pet cat as a kid after Tango. He was my good boy. I still can't believe how cat-like Pluto is in-game, as well.
Man, they came up with a lot of cool ideas for World V. Heck, using Wily's own attacks against him at the end was neat. Lawl, Kararock. Seems they also foreshadowed the Mega Man x Sonic Archie comics long before Archie Mega Man was a thing. :p

Very unique take on something so familiar, like planets of our solar system. And their names does sounds cool enough to be names of fierce robots!

MMV made a huge impact on the fanbase, which I don't believe Capcom intended. Just look at the Archie comics, where the Stardroids and Shadow Man are tied with Ra Moon and MM8's Evil Robot/Trio.

Ok, so I have a theory about this game. Inside the company that made it they made a lot, and I mean A LOT of Mega Man Killer concepts ideas, and because of how many there were they made a game where these concepts aren't mega man killers, but their own thing.

Man, I adore MMV. It's my favorite classic Mega Man game by far. Incredible music, mechanics, boss designs, weapons, and stages. The perfect Mega Man game
The Uranus jokes were quite good and hilarious, but also the whole jokes about Terra were other good ones too. The voice acting, and even the bloopers were definitely top notch. I definitely enjoyed watching this one as well too! Great job and great video, you now have finished and completed all five Game Boy Mega Man games! Love this game, it's my favorite classic MegaMan and the color patch just makes it better. Great video, I like all the jokes and on going lore and references like gigachad Ballade. Missed opportunity gameplay wise: They could have made it so all the Stardroids were immune to the Buster but still harmed by the fist. Instead the upgrade that gives you rocket fists apparently also upgrades the buster so it can hurt them.
