And when you consider the fact that a MegaMan sized black hole can nearly equal the output of a supernova (I did the math, it’s about 4/5 of a supernova or .8 Foe), that SEVERELY outclasses Volnutt compared to Classic, X, Starforce, and EXE

Toonforce is just a broken ability. Making even the most unlikely characters e.g. Popeye absolutely broken.
Exe is actually the strongest. Although the speed feat feels weird. This is actually quite valid. Toons like Spongebob and Popeyes don't even have physic so what do u expect if u were to actually calculate them lol

The idea of Death Battle is that you don't know your opponent. So Classic would have no idea that X was completely out of his league.

Actually he has met X in other media, so he might have known that X was superior, although I can't remember if X actually told him that

classic has a prideful streak, and attacks X to prove who's better
x is a soldier, and knows exe and starforce will focus each other so he moves to thin the herd by going after classic and volnut
exe and starforce both see each other as the biggest threat to them, so move to take them out first, as strategists
and volnut is out of his league and shows he knows this very well
I wouldnt argue Volnutt isnt entirely out of his own league, he could possibly beat classic mega man with the right equipment, he was just not properly prepared for this fight (all because of the sprite sheets used) and i'd argue if Volnutt was at full power aka his Trigger from with his memories and technology, i believe he could potentially take X on but he'd still lose.
I don't think that's the reason Rock targeted X, he most likely did for the same reason as EXE and Geo targeting each other. If each Mega Man is in their strongest state, then this version of classic is taken from the very end of the classic series, where he might actually know who X is since Dr. Light probably wouldn't just hide the development of X from his own son. Classic would know that X was designed to be better than him in every way, causing him to see X as the biggest threat in this fight (given he isn't familiar with the other three opponents). His strategy was probably hoping the other opponents would weaken X so that classic could finish him off. Unfortunately, this tactic wouldn't succeed because, regardless of whether X or classic would come out on top, neither of them stand a chance against EXE and Geo, whom classic doesn't even realize are an even bigger threat than X. X, on the other hand, was probably focusing on classic just because he was provoked by the latter kicking him off the building.
I can back up EXE and Star Force being strategists since they have to be smart and strategize with their Battle Chips and Cards
Classic: *wants to prove they're the best by attacking their upgrade*
X: *defending themself against classic...oh and volnutt's there too I guess*
EXE and StarForce: *killing each other*
Volnutt: *is gonna die horribly and he knows it*
Star Force achieving an actually pretty good future was the real victory here

Deaths Explained (in order)
Volnutt: died from the black hole explosion. He was knocked into it by Megaman classic when X attacked him.
Classic: Died to X during the black hole explosion. X fully charged the mega blaster and shot as soon as he was sucked in, causing it to explode and wipe out the city.
*Volnutt and classic died during this. Megaman.exe and Star were badly injured, but .Exe was able to heal himself. X almost died, but his metal core survived, so he regenerated. Star was the only one still badly injured, and he decided to go into X’s body*
X: died to the mega laser
Star: Since he was still inside of X, he died when X died. That moment where he briefly appeared in the laser was meant to represent that.
This is just to anyone confused about how they died, since there was a lot going on.

Well, thanks, but can you explain why Starforce Megaman was damaged by the blackhole when it was clearly stated that he could walk through a giant blackhole "like it was nothing"? ( @18:26 ) Seriously, I don't mind that he lost, but when they came out of the Blackhole explosion missing an arm, I was like WTF!?!

@Andoc MegaMan.EXE has Roll.exe in games, (Meddy.EXE too, meh), Classic Rock & Classic Roll (Just Capcom things, sort of), and Finally X & Zero (XD).
This battle was essentially Megaman EXE Vs Starforce Megaman, none of the other Megaman even stood a chance.
Volnutt helping classic was just wholesome and the fact that classic didn't even bother to deal with volnutt
Props to Volnutt. He may have died first but he spent his last minutes helping out classic.
I liked Classic the most, so I honored Volnutt's death too for helping my boi out.

I completely forgot that the manga counted as a composite character in EXE/Hub’s feats. Yeah, he’s essentially Cyber-God. The other Mega Men didn’t have a CHANCE once that factored in, not even poor Geo.

@@incaendium2335 "Nothing personal" is the correct way to say it. "Personnel" refers to people (usually multiple people rather than a single individual) employed by some sort of organization (such as the military). "Personal" is more about the individual, and is the proper word to use.

I mean, Boomstick isn't wrong with the Original Tineline. Dr. Light most definitely contributed to the world going to hell, but the one who wanted the world ruined was Dr. Wily, as he created Zero and the original Maverick Virus that caused the Maverick Wars. If Zero was never found, most of the Mavericks X had to face would have just been Reploids who just made the wrong decisions, instead of have entire Uprisings like the canon games.
That's not to say there'd never be any Rebellions, but they would be as destructive as Sigma's were if the Virus played the role it did in the timeline.
so in other words, sigma and Wily won in the end. although if it's off any cold comfort to this inescapable grimdark future that megaman legends is trapped in, it is that neither will never live long to bask in their final victory

I feel like volnutt was nerf for this fight they talk about his weapons but only give him the mega buster hell they don't even give him his helmet that he can get in the first game that ups his defense a little isn't the whole point of death battle that the combatants go in with their best gear? volnutt may still lose but he may have put up a better fight than he did here if he had at least some of his gear

I think that Death Battle concluded that Volnutt no matter what gear he had couldn't compete with the other mega-men so they decided to skim over his part to save time. Shame too since Volnutt is a great guy, just massively shafted in terms of power compared to his counterparts.

What’s sad about the classic era is that Rock wasn’t even the first prototype of his kind. Protoman, or Blue, was technically one of the first robots Dr. Light ever made. He was nuclear powered, but there was an issue with his core that was near fatal. Dr. Light was gonna fix it, but Blue feared his memory and free Will would be wiped away, so he ran and almost died before being repaired and tricked by Wily. While he eventually found his way back to Rock and Dr. Light, his story is honestly kind of sad. I also want to see Protoman in a future episode of Death Battle, but I don’t know who he could fight, and preferably win against.

I just realized this now, all of the Mega Man versions we see in this Death Battle are eerily similar to the five main protagonists from the Yu-Gi-Oh series.
Classic Mega Man: Wants peace and harmony between humans and robots, fights evil, and will help anyone in need
Yugi Muto: Wants friends, fights evil and helps people in need despite the risk
Mega Man X: Was dropped into a war he didn't want to take part in, cuz he's a pacifist, which cost the lives of a lot of people, has a lot of weapon equips for any situation, and has another AI inside him
Jaden Yuki: Always up for a duel, was dragged into a responsibility he didn't want to cope with which cost the lives of a lot of people, has an evil alter ego, a vast array of Elemental HERO cards for almost any occasion, and another person literally living inside his soul

Yusei Fudo: Was actually born in New Domino City: a high society place and was sent to Satellite: a literal garbage dump upon the Zero Reverse, a wide spread disaster/meltdown of a perpetual motion machine which gave humanity infinite energy, which is powered by human emotions, that spun in the opposite direction thanks to the negative emotions in humans, which split the city into two sections, and caused almost biblical natural disasters, which, I may add, in Z-ONE's future timeline, the negative feelings, greed, pride and emotions of humanity caused it to spin in the opposite direction again and explode while also creating Terminator-esque robots which had ended up killing all of humanity off, save for a few stragglers.
Mega Man.Exe: A virtual version of Mega Man, who also has a human partner, Lan, who together, they both fight viruses and compete in tournament-like competitions, Lan has a vast array of Battle Chips for any occasion, and Lan and Exe are actually brothers

that was one of the BEST death battles i have ever seen. i didn't know too much about the MEGA MAN series until this point. it's really SAD that at the end of the original TIMELINE, it did not have a HAPPY ending for EVERYBODY involved.😞

I love the detail in the animation where how each of them fought off the black hole showed just how strong they were relative to each other. Volnutt was fucked. Classic gave a good effort. X barely survived. Geo was damaged but could still pull through. EXE just shrugged it off with a Recover chip.
Tbh tho geo shouldnt have suffered any damage tho

I think when they make the decision on who wins, they try to fit the story to where they kinda throw out logic to make the other characters lose faster.

As someone who grew up on the Battle Network and Starforce games, I figured it would have to come down to those two considering their cosmic level feats.
I was really hoping Geo would win though since he comes out on top as my favourite Megaman between the two of them!

Vent/Aile with Model X would fare maybe slightly better than Volnutt because he has X's base abilities--save for X2's arm parts--and lacks special weapons. Even with Zx he only gains a saber, which X himself already has here, although with debatably less proficiency. He's even been shown to get kicked out of Megamerge with the right tricks like when first meeting Serpent or during his final fight with him, Geo or .EXE would have a field day with an issue like that.

Man, they did Volnutt so dirty. Even though he is clearly super outclassed, I expected him to actually use his arsenal and have a creative development even though I knew fully well he would lost. He could have even used the drill quick slide to get out of the black hole's influence, or even the energy/defense shield, which in essence makes him invulnerable for a while.
I do agree that Volnutt should have used more of his arsenal I don't think that drill would have saved him

Looking back at this fight, I only have two problems with it.
Voltnut didn’t run laps around the fight enough, X never used the nova strike.
and both exe and starforce didn't use their special forms. aside from that, they went all out

The only reason I can accept that EXE has full access to his powers in the real world using any means but that damn robot in the last game is due to the fact that data, energy, and matter are all interchangeable in the Megaman Universe using the X series rules (Proven by Antivirus Z-Saber)

@@cailenlittle8623 He traps enemies in a black hole and slices the black hole causing it to implode on the enemy in his Black Ace form (while Red Joker has more raw power, I feel Black Ace is the better form due to it's versatility and the fact that lorewise it increases Geo's already mindblowing speed to even more insane levels). Honestly, the exploding black hole in this fight should have been a minor annoyance to him at best. Also, he ditched the head buster for a proper hand and cool futuristic looking buster in his final appearance.

@@createrz8433 Volnutt didn't have any kind of weapons or upgrades at his disposal because his weapons are manual rather than program, and Megaman.EXE had chips called "uninstall, interrupt, and catcher" so he could stop any of the Mega man's weapons and programs except for Volnutt since his weapons are manual not programs.

For anyone who plays the StarForce games (or just the lot of Mega Man games extensively), where does the sound come from where StarForce Mega Man charges up his buster shot at 21:32? That's the best buster shot charge sound effect I've ever heard.
I couldn't tell you for sure where exactly it's from. It's definitely not from Starforce since Geo doesn't really charge his buster the same way the others do (holding down a button to build up energy)
If I had to guess, it sounds like a variation of a Battle Network buster charge.
