How To Tie the SCHWABISCH Hitch!

- In this episode, I show how to tie the SCHWABISCH friction hitch. This particular hitch was inspired by the classic symmetrical and omni-directional prusik, but it is decidedly different as the Schwabisch is unidirectional (can only be loaded in one direction) and asymmetrical (different number of coils per leg, 4:1). This is definitely one of the most reliable hitches you can choose to use. It's a great hitch for lanyards; just add a micropulley and you're golden.
