Thank you very much Bino, I am learning a lot with your video. Very usefull . I was wondering which pulley are you using in the video. Have a great climbing LOL

It's a micro pulley. the pulley I like most is a hitch climber pulley.

Thos hitch was mainly used in old split tail systems for pine removals or pruneing dead wood on golf courses snd park distracts

Swabish < vt ? (If you have a shorter cord?)

I put a loop prusik on a figure 8 using it instead of a pulley and I'm wondering what you think about doing it like that. I put a short video on my profile.
I haven't really tried it out. I'm thinking maybe it would work better if I wrapped the cord around the figure 8 kind of like a VT, and do the wraps like the swabish.

In doing it that way it will tend your line but you have to send the end of the line though so if you have to untie and retie you'll have to send the end of the line back through it. Also the way you have your carabiner it will side load. It would be better to get a pulley and an extra carabiner.

@@BinoH I dont understand how it would side load. The main advantage I see with this set up is that I won't have the sown ends of my hitch cord pushing up into the hitch loosening it when I advance/tend the rope .
