Thanks Bino. Another great instructional video, you walked that branch smoothly , say hi to Noah
Thank you, I will.
Thanks Bino for the useful demo's.
Glad it was helpful!
I tie mine wrapping for the bottom and crossing at the end great video
Nice thanks for sharing!
Bino, have you ever thought of climbing school? You have so much knowledge, rather than a short videos you can go into much greater detail. I'm a novice, never climbed a tree, but would love to learn.
Yes it's one of my dreams. Maybe someday!
I liked it! What saddle do you climb with, your attachment points are interesting, I just got the Petzl Sequoia srt, wanted the adjustable rope bridge and lower d’s, hoping to get in some trees with it soon, beings I’m a recreational climber,
Again, Thanks for the education! Low and Slow for sure!
I use the Buckingham Master 5.0. It has 9 climbing post that you can use and a sliding bridge with a ring. The sliding bridge is not adjustable though. I like and it's very comfortable.
Do you have a video of the type of rope you can or can not use for a hitch for SRT/SRS?
with the SRS it's a good idea to use a rope of kermantle construction. It's more for the use of ascenders. Hitches will work on regular and and kearmantle.
I've been learning a lot from you. I have a question I need to answer though. I haven't climbed in 9 years, and things have changed for the better. I used to climb with a taunt line hitch. My friend Is teaching me with an eye to eye and he told me the vt was the easiest to learn. I've had issues with both elbows in the last and don't.like how.high the VT sets. What knot would you recommend to help.with limited.extension?
I also have a hitch climber pulley and was.wondering if there's A way to.set.it up with the old school system and a taunt line.... Thanks
Yes you could use a Distel or Michoacan with a 24" cord.
You could use a split tail with a pulley. I prefer a Blake's over a Taut line though. I have a video on how to use a split tail.
You put your one end in the middle and your tending end on the side. Which end has the most tension on it? Just curious and your tending end so you hook on side d ring on harness
I put my termination end on my right side and I put my climbing hitch on the left side. I'm left handed and feel comfortable that way. I only climb that way when I'm using MRS when I'm on SRS I use the center post.
Swabish vs distel in performance vs vdt👍👍👍👍👍🤣
Can you add the Prusik to one of your videos?
Yes I will add it to this series.
That reverse chirality stuff is a b**** thanks BINO
