  • It was finally time to remove those stock seats and get these beautys installed. Part of the video does have terrible audio background so feel free to mute that section haha.

    Omg a Honda video with GOOD information to convey knowledge instead of incorrect BS causing wasted time/money. Thank you sir, especially for your bolt sizes

      The seat rails I got, basically sit right on the floor. There is no way to make them lower by modifying. I do believe I sit lower in these aftermarket seats then I do in the stock ones, so that would give you a bit more head room

      I'd have to take a look. I know ebay does sell good name brand rails if you're unable to get them on an actual car parts site. Go to the Honda forum and they have some good recommendations there. Now when I say eBay, I don't mean buy eBay brand rails. I mean look for good name brand ones and buy those through eBay

    Hey nice video 💪🏾.... Question how did you manage to get to The seats with the brackets?? I have the same one but I’m having trouble putting them on the back holes line up but not the front one please get back at me will highly appreciate it thank you

    • @Trytec96
      @Trytec96  Před 4 lety +1

      Are you having trouble mounting the bracket to the seat or mounting them into the car? The brackets for me mounted easily to the seat and only the passenger seat was a nightmare mounting to the car. I should have spent the extra money and just bought the better brackets

    • @joseagosto9753
      @joseagosto9753 Před 4 lety +1

      Trytec mounting them to the car the other part was easy but just reminding them to the car is becoming a nightmare for me lol ... what did u do to get them on??

    • @Trytec96

      @@joseagosto9753 So there are a couple things you can do. First, take the bracket off the seat and see if it will mount. My bracket was slightly off. You can try putting in a couple bolts very lose so you can still have a bit of movement in the bracket to put the remainder of the bolts in. I almost cut and rewelded a new piece so it lined up better, but I was able to pry the bracket over just enough to get the last bolt in. You could also drill the hole larger if it's only slightly off but I wouldn't suggest that as it will affect the integrity of the bracket and weaken in.

    Will these seat rails work for Right Hand Drive Civic Hatch ‘99-‘00? x

    • @Trytec96
      @Trytec96  Před 3 lety +2

      I'll be honest, I wasn't a huge fan of them for my car. I'd spend the few dollars more and get a nicer set unless you don't mind possibly having to mod or fight with the bracket like I had to for the passenger. I can't see why they wouldn't work for a R/H drive Civic. I would imagine the mounting bolt positions are the same
