- Summer has officially arrived here in Valencia! I will take my electric scooter to the beach and show you around. Maybe try a new restaurant or just walk at the beach without a plan.
We had a great lunch at La Pepica and ice cream at a Mercabanyal. Just a perfect Sunday in Valencia!

@@ANTOANETTA We just arrived in Valencia today- we're finally here !😊 We're staying at the Senator Parque Centtral on the edge of Rusaffa until the 9th and then transferring to a singular stays apartment. Super tired right now as we've been up for more than 24hrs now, but I'm also very eager to step put of the hotel and walk around nearby this evening . It was insanely searing hot when we arrived 😳hopefully it will be less tomorrow because my daughter is feeling down and discouraged- but she's also exhausted. I'm hoping to show her things that thrill her tomorrow so that she doesn't lose faith in our move here!

I was there in holy week with Friends. I remmember the beach. Near there is famous disco. There are also pub to drink tropical cocktails in the center.

Beach life in Valencia looks absolutely beautiful! Would love to live there but concerned about the flooding. Is the flooding as bad as they show on CZcams?
Flooding? Hmm there were heavy rains a few times but I think floods were outside of the city. I didn’t experience any.
I was staying in Cabaynal at the beginning of May 2022 and there was an awful rain. I tried to wait it out in a bar but eventually had to return to my airbnb. The streets were absolutely flooded! I ran home in water that was over my ankles and shoes. I understand that this is not normal, but it was incredible. Some of the local businesses were closed the next day due to water damage.

I like that you can take a scooter or bike with ease to the beach from the city. I liked the fish and the salad. I can't wait to live there. Florida has nice beaches but hotter than there and can be very hard to get to with all the traffic.

It does get hot in Valencia in the summer, it can get to the 90F but not as humid as Florida so is not as exhausting.
Hi! Are there lockers at the beach for personal belongings? If not, what do most people do with their stuff? Phone, wallet, and such.
Hola Maria, las dejan en la playa. En España no se suelen robar esas cosas. Salvo en Barcelona.
Планираме кратка (1 седмица) семейна почивка в града през юли. Ще ми е интересно да видя до колко натоварени стават плажовете тогава, какви са условията и кой район/плаж бихте препоръчала. Дали би било по-спокойно на юг от пристанището (край Pinedo) или "централния", който се вижда на това видео. Хотела ни е точно до Града на изкуствата и науките. :)

@@ANTOANETTA благодаря, ранни птици сме (детето ни става в 6 сутринта, а и ние с него...имаме ли избор) и най-вероятно ще си опитаме късмета с Playa de Malvarrosa или Cabanyal. Мислихме за плажа край Pinedo, но по на юг за съжаление няма как да слезем (без кола сме).

They have wanted to remodel the Nazaret and Cabañal neighborhood for years, demolishing and constructing new buildings, the same as from the City of Arts to the sea, but the neighbors oppose it, the city council is preparing to urbanize everything with gardens and walks, What they will never ever build on the beach, because the coastal law prohibits doing it less than 200 meters away unless it was approved as urban land before the law. Regards
