Eskerrik asko eta agur!!
I have been so many times to San Sebastián is such a beautiful location, this is definitely the jewel of the Basque region in Spain. Much to my surprise there are places you show that I have never seen. Thank you so much for sharing deeply appreciated.❤
Thank you for watching. Hopefully, you'll get to visit it again soon.
In Spagna?, sei sicuro?, io direi piuttosto nei Paesi Baschi.
This is the most underrated city in Spain. Thanks to the achievements of Real Sociedad in football, many people discover this beautiful city, aside from Madrid and Barcelona. I put this city to my travel list.
Definitely go check it out! Thanks for watching.
Wonderful video! Thank you. You captured not just the places to visit, but the spirit with which to visit. Bravo!
Thank you so much!
Thank you! Loved your video) We are about to go there in a car from Barcelona. So you experience is really helpful.
We're so glad you found it helpful. Enjoy your trip.
Hi, Lovely clip, very useful information. We booked to San Sebastian in early June 2023. Hopefully we get good weather and not too much rain
Thanks so much. Have a great trip!

Vielleicht eine der fünf schönsten Städte Europas. Das ganze Baskenland ist wunderschön.
Great video, you two! I love you finally made the move there and are living it up! The video is informative, entertaining, and funny. Keep it up!

It’s the BEST. Have a great trip!
Love this channel! Excited for what's next.
Thank you Brett!
It was at that gazebo in 2019 where I learned that people were still dancing the Lindy Hop. When I returned home, I was shocked to learn from CZcams that this dance is still popular all around the world. I was set to volunteer at the International Lindy Hop Championship in NY last month but reconsidered due to Covid concerns. As it turned out, many people did contract covid there including several of my favorite competitors. I think I made the right decision.
Thanks for sharing your story! The gazebo is the perfect place to meet dancers. I wasn't at ILHC either (I'm not ready for that yet). -Lainey

@@DaysWeSpend Probablemente una de las ciudades más hermosas del mundo, y con una gastronomía brutal, con muchos restaurantes estrellas michelin ,y muchos chef entre los mejores del mundo. Una ciudad de ensueño.

"GET ON THE PLATFORM!"
Me alegro mucho de vuestra experiencia en nuestra ciudad , que es la vuestra.
Hasta pronto.
Thank you so much.
Lovely video! Is Sunday a great day to visit?
Many places are closed on Sunday (at least in the off season, that was our experience). But that does mean things are a little less crowded.
Great video, thanks for sharing! Did you stay at an Airbnb or hotel? I’ll be there for 4-5 nights in February and want to stay somewhere so I can walk to everything. Especially food spots 😋 Any recommendations on which area to stay, hotels, etc? Thank you!
We actually rented an apartment for two months to save on costs while we immersed ourselves in San Sebastián. FeelFree does luxury short term rentals (I’m not sure what their minimum is but it’s worth a look). Gros is the best. Best tapas. Great beach. Really fun. Don’t miss pintxo pote night on Thursdays!
Hey you two. I love your content. I’ve been following for a while. My friend and I have settled on a modified Camino Norte with a longer stop in San Sebastián. I understand we can’t stay at an albergue (at least a municipal one) for more than one night and will need to book other accommodations. You mentioned in this video that you stayed in an apartment in Gros. Would you recommend that place, and if so, what is the contact information for it? Thanks.
Thank you so much! Sounds like you have a fun trip planned! Our apartment was through a rental company called FeelFree. The place we stayed has a one month minimum. Some places on that site don’t have minimums, but it’s very pricey for a short term stay.
On two previous trips we stayed in an airbnb room with an incredible local host in Gros. She introduced us to Pintxo pote! Send us a DM, email, or an IG message and we’ll share the listing with you.
Just started watching your channel. What do you both do for a living to support your travels and any tips on how to work online?
Thanks for watching! Shawn’s a travel writer and copywriter. I teach dancing and am a social media manager.
In terms of working online, build as many connections as you can. It’s often who you know. Create a good online website or portfolio. Be active on social media. We’ve both had clients reach out to us on Instagram.

Hello,
At what time of the year did you go there ? I Plan to fly there at the end of March, can I enjoy the sun or would it be more cloudy ?
Thanks for helping ✌🏽
We were there from the beginning of March until early May. It's almost always cloudy in San Sebastian. You might have a few days of sun and a few days of cloud/rain. Enjoy your trip!
parkour at 4:10 bahaha
Ihr 2 seit lustig 👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you :)

Do you have accommodation tips?
Our number one tip is to travel in the off season when accommodation is cheaper. We've used Airbnb successfully (booked a room in a local's apartment). Our host Monika gave us a great introduction to the city. If you're flexible with your dates, often times there is more affordable accommodation available (such as avoiding weekends and holidays).
Great video except for all the goofing around. Surprised you didn’t mention the funicular railway though - one of the three oldest in Spain and spectacular views at the top. A real highlight for us.
Thanks for watching. The funicular is really cool but in our experience (we went twice), everything was closed or it was so crowded that the line was 2 hours to the top. We tried walking up, but the road was randomly closed for construction with no notice. Our experience was not one we wanted to recommend.
U forget Mont Igeldo and his park
Is it very bike friendly?
Yes! Everywhere, except the old town. There are some excellent bike paths to get through the main parts of town.
