In today's video, I will be diving deep into Super Mario Party Jamboree and what I think about it! I also talk a bit about everything we've learned, including the minigames, boards, modes and MORE!

Some other details that I have noticed are that:
1.The UI cycles and signals the current player turn, a minigame moment or a jotas event (like a flash sale) to plan accordingly.
2.Reactions are back you can see the icon during Ninji’s segment, that means we will have more unlockables.
3. in the cover of the game Peach is holding an item bag and a seashell is coming out (new item?). Also a boo bell can be seen in the box confirming its return.
Now for speculation:
If we have returning boards, do we have returning minigames too?
And I don’t think the returning boards are cancelled dlc. They don’t have the same art style as superstars which is more cartoonish and this is more realistic.
I think they are following the Mario Kart route of bringing old boards back as superstars was successful and they want to keep bring all fans back.
Also I think there’s possibility of DLC as the game is being advertised as the biggest Mario Party ever.
A few things of note that were missed in the analysis:
1: The "Giga" Bowser we see appears to not actually be Bowser, but rather either a big statue of Bowser brought to life by Kamek's magic, or Kamek himself disguised as Bowser using magic. (We see this bowser cloaked in Kamek's magic whenever we see them, and we can see Bowser being played as in some screenshots from the menus).
2: Bowser's Keep board actually does loop, as we can see a pipe at the very top and a pipe right at the beginning. It's likely that this board is focused on splitting paths as you ascend the board.
3: We see varied colors of Toads and Shyguys in player-based settings, such as in the karts. This may be the first Mario Party where we get to play as the legendary Buckin Berry and not-as-legendary Alla Gold. (Hell Yeah)
Just my own speculation here:
I think the new "Hex" system may be simplified into Items this time around, while being combined with Orbs as well. I'm glad these may be returning, since they added a lot of variety and strategy to their respective games.
The different colored toads and shy guys in karts are probably just an intro for the board and not actually playable characters. We also see different colored toads and shy guys riding jet skis near the island resort. Theyre probably just npcs. Yellow toad also carries star now instead of red toad or toadette.

@@DoodleBobFG How am I wrong? I literally said they were also in jet skies but theyre probably just npcs. The yellow toad on air baloon is also most likely npc because there is also bowser,mario,yoshi and peach who are playable characters and yellow toad is also star holder now instead of toadette. Yellow toad basically replaced red toad as a host/guide.

I'm so happy that we're getting a new Mario Party that's a mix of previous Mario Party games, plus, a big originality.
It's gonna be similar to what Mario Kart does
I know I am in the minority but the most important thing to me is the stars being 20 coins. It breaks the in game economy to me when coins are 10. Very thankful for the information in the trailer!
They used to cost 20 coins in old games (like Mario Party 8) too
So true. The first time I watched the direct, I thought the stars were 10 coins 😅😢 but then I realized in the video they said "half price off" or "sale" something like that, being a gimmick of that specific board .. so they are actually 20 coins 😅 what a relief

I've noticed that all of the instances where Bowser is a hazard, he's almost glowing like a purple-ish color, so I think he may be a double created by Kamek or something

I imagine the 2nd Bowser is a clone made by Kamek as you can see a purple glow surrounding him. This is probably so Bowser can be both playable and part of the boards.
I think it looks like the Wiggler will move around in the hole it is in in the Wiggler Tree Party ( Kind of like a train) if you land on an event space

Pauline will take the shot to Super Mario Party Jamboree, I know she will make it to the Mario party series
I’m just disappointed that Pauline might not be in this game. She’s in freakin Strikers for gods sake put her in the last missing spin off - Mario Party! I wanna be able to hoast a full party with the 4 humanoid girls (Peach, Daisy Rosalina & Pauline) just like you have the ability to do that with the male characters being Mario, Luigi, Wario & Waluigi.
This isn’t the last spin-off. We still “need” her in a 2D game, Baseball and some other spin-offs lol. By the way I dunno why you guys are so obsessed with Pauline. We already need to be glad that she didn’t only appear in Super Mario Odyssey. By the way I just think Pauline doesn’t fit Mario Party to be honest
21 characters have been announced so far which would be a strange number to have, so I expect at least one more character, maybe even 3 more to be in the final game, so Pauline definitely has a shot

Um...she can still be Unlockable, Diddy Kong wasn't shown. And also freaking Ninji Made it, there's No way she doesn't
One thing I noticed is that it looks like during the 6 player boss minigame scene it seems like bowser has that glowing purple effect and the colorful shapes around him like kamek casted a spell on him so maybe that’s why he seems bigger that usual and it could be a duplicate of bowser
Wdym bigger than usual? Bowser changing size happens almost every game.
@@nintendoboy3605 I meant like bigger than what we saw at the beginning of the trailer when Mario, Peach, Yoshi and Bowser were on the hot air balloon. Basically bigger than his playable character state
In the original Coinathlon mode from Mario Party Star Rush, sometimes you get a Bowser "survival" minigame, which if you fail puts you back a certain amount of spaces, while if you succeed there's no penalty. So it looks like they're bringing that back as well

If there’s returning minigames, we NEED Smash Compactor from Mario Party 9. It’s criminal that it wasn’t in Superstars.
I dont expect any returning minigames to be added in the game JUST because 2 returning boards are coming doesnt automatically mean returning minigames are coming too.
If you look really closely at yoshi in the blimp and when he’s running from bowser you can see he has completely new animations of which are AMAZING
18:00 What I also find kinda hilarious is that, in the group picture and in one of the minigames that was shown, Bowser was as big as he was in Super Mario Party, namely a head taller than Mario. But in both those boards as well as the minigames/modes where the characters are running away from him and shooting cannonballs at him, he's FREAKING *_HUMONGOUS._*
Looks like our man is taking a few pointers from Ridley in Smash lol
18:47 Maybe it could work like in Mario Party 10's amiibo Party mode, where Bowser could still land on Bowser spaces but when he did, it would help him instead of hindering him?
This game looks realy good! Hopfully they add a board from MP3 (Chilly Waters maybe?) because it's favourite and it feels weird including 1 and 2, but not 3.
I love Chilly Waters so I really hope so. It’s a shame that MP3 has been shafted, only getting one board in Superstars and now not having any in Jamboree. Fingers crossed for a DLC or hidden unlockable board
@@tmarino721 Consider this is the third mario party on switch, and the previous 2 had people hoping for dlc ,only for it to not happen, it's unlikey. But hey, maybe Nintendo will prove us all wrong again.

I remember the old Mario party superstar’s predictions videos! But I’m definitely hyped for this game to probably more then I was for superstars. Although I still hope there’s some new characters still like Pauline, E.Gadd and more!
If you look closely at the begging of king bowsers keep you can see a black warp pipe not just there but at multiple points at the top of the board which makes this the first multiple choice linear board ever.
I honesty dont think 21 characters will be the final roster because since this game DOES have the word SUPER in the name and its style of the word does match the name of SUPER Mario Party, and i think we SHOULD expect many more of Bowsers minions as playable and HOPEFULY we see at least 2 or 3 new playable characters in Mario's group to even the amount to both groups.
Something i find cool about the game is the location it takes place in. The Island Resort is very big, and you can actually see the locations of each board and side mode in it. I also noticed a poster of the Island Board in the shopping mall, which is a nice bit of workd building.
On that topic though, i saw an Island with a Bowser statue and a city, so yeah the Bowser fight is definitely it's own mode.
I also saw the Island with a lighthouse that Mario, Luigi, and Peach fly across for a moment in the trailer. So that seems to be a side mode too. Could be the closest thing we'll get to a free roaming mode maybe?

Pauline, Funky Kong, Cappy, Nabbit, Boom Boom, and Petey Pirahna as new playable characters, and well as bring back Diddy Kong, Hammer Bro, Dry Bones, Pom Pom, and Blooper from Mario Party 8, having some Minigames from older Mario Party games back, also, the Bowser that is on the boards, Minigames, and boss is a Fake Bowser.
You can zoom in on KBK to see a bowser at the beginning, so the big purple bowser is just a different bowser. it’s that simple.
I think that in the Yoshi-riding minigame Yoshi is going to be by himself. In Yoshi's Crafted World and Super Mario Bros Wonder the Yoshi-riding-Yoshi mechanic is only used to help, while here it would be useless, especially since the Yoshi's capabilities do not change no matter who is riding
Zack if you look at the box art, it shows daisy with a hammer and walugui holding a sack of coins just seems to go deeper and maybe confirm mario party 1 bash and cash mingame and maybe they will bring a mario party 3 board as unlockable or could reveil more things in the final trailor, i feel like pauline is unlockable if there is a rythem mode shes usally assoited with jazz singing.

6:14 they say each lap you do you could get a star. THERE is a spaces to the star counter in the top left which means that this most likely won't be happening.
i really hope the custom dice blocks return and the 0 number on them. those were cool things i liked in super mario party
I love their finally fixing the lack of content issue that plagued the other 2 switch entries
Goomba Lagoon is my favorite board thanks to five reasons:
1. It feels the most unice out of every board
2. Simple fun board
3. It sounds like Goo Lagoon from SpongeBob
4. It has my boy GOOMBAAAAAAAAAA
5. It is like the most Eevee (Sophist) board

I think the main Mario Party games from now on will be called Super Mario Party: Whatever.
So you know thats why the name is so long.
12:18 Its probably a coop minigame similiar how first super mario party had coop minigames but its 8 players instead of 4 this time where you essentially have to work together. In this minigame you probably have to connect the pictures in the right order to match. The minigame at 14:22 is probably also coop minigame and also 8 players. However the japanese website of the game says local multiplayer is up to 4 players so I dont know if the coop will be for 8 players online or the remaining 4 characters will be always cpus.

You can see bowser playing in Mario’s castle and bowsers keep and there’s a big one as well
I wonder if Bowser is going to be playable in every mode considering he looks like he is an NPC in quite a few of the mini games and he has his own board. Anyways, great video as always! I’m excited for your coverage for the next few months
He's playable in Mario's Rainbow Castle, and he's also an npc there, so I don't see why not

I think there will be 24 characters, 4 unlockable since the sequence showing the 20 characters has 12 on the top and only 8 on the bottom I have a feeling 4 of bowsers minions will be unlockable so ninji dry bones hammer bro and in the clip with the island and the toads on boats you can see boom boom so I wonder if he is a playable character
I have a feeling that the developers behind Fruit Ninja (the mobile game) will attempt to sue Nintendo for using that name for a mini game in Mario Party
You can see in the bowser battle and on marios rainbow castle taht theres kamek particles, thus implying its just a fake bowser
8:50 I say is like Luigi’s engine room where there all of path that you can take but at end of the path there a pipe that take you back to the start of the board or Waluigi’s island is the same gimmick there all of path but at end a pipe that returns to the starting point of the board. I really don’t is the idea on this board but there my suggestion of what type of board it is to be. 3:37 Come if to the character there replace four of them from the previous game that are not coming so we have two of the four spike and ninji there still two spot for new characters we never see on party. I hope they put Pauline of one in the two missing spot.

Looks good but I’m scared of 1) their being too many lucky spaces again 2) there being too little mini games. Going from 100 minigames without side modes to 110 minigames with probably a lot of side modes might feel like there’s too few minigames

The bullet bill game almost looks like the 1v3s in MP1 where u steal one persons coins cuz couldn't two people just stand on opposite sides of the path?
King bowser is def a diff character. Assuming Kamek has something to do with it. Which is why bowser jr and Bowser joined in. They have some insensitive to join in as well as the baddies.
Yeah he also has some purple aura around him so he was probably summoned or created by kamek while the playable bowser is the real bowser.

You know, I kinda wished they just called it Mario Party Jamboree. Calling it Super Mario Party Jamboree made a lot of people think its gonna have the same flaws as Super Mario Party when it clearly isnt.

Yeah the pipe probably takes you back so youre not really missing spaces that you wont have access to anymore.

I just hate the name so much. I’m not a big fan of Mario party so idk what to say, well except for Mario party 8 because that’s my childhood.
I’m a little disappointed with the roster thus far. I was specifically looking forward to Pauline making her debut in a Mario Party game because I’m interested in her animation since you were never able to freely control her in her main outfit (the dress) before. Diddy Kong & Dry Bones also missing. Lots of stupid filler characters like Spike, Monty Mole etc but I’m hoping that we might get unlockables that specifically include Pauline so we get that one final Mario Princess type girl character to balance out the two genders.
The roaster is good imo people are just being picky and greedy of what they want
@@PB3dapearl the roster is really bad and generic, we want actual characters we love, not just minions and 6 named characters LOL.
I mean it's cool to have variety, but having new CHARACTERS would be nice too, we didn't see Pompom and Diddy kong on the trailer so they removed two really good characters people love, and they actually removed really good generics like Dry bones and Hammer bro which people also love. They really just need to give us all characters and add new ones like Pauline and it would be fine.
Removing characters (specially if you already have the model and animations like the characters I mentioned) is really weird and it needs to stop, we need to add, not subtract, that's why I'm hoping all the characters I mentioned and some more are unlockeable.
Characters like Spike and Monty Mole are actually pretty well liked in Mario Spinoffs. Mario is one of the few series' where basic enemies are still treated like actual characters by the fans.
