  • Today I'm taking you on a trip on the morning commuter train to Bergen with flooding. Filmed with the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K equipped with a Canon 24mm 1.4 L USM II. This lense is of course wider than the 35mm catching more of the surroundings, but at the same time it will still maintain most of the "true to eye" feel of the line.
Exiting from Voss I've added some markers for where the Old line went before it was improved. Can you find the rest of the features in the terrain on the rest of the trip? Write that down bellow in the comments with time stamps! :D
It's now almost mid September and the autumn colors hast started to set in. It has also been raining consecutively for almost two whole weeks, and the river is pretty angry. Aaaand don't miss out on the flock of the deer to the left at 17:05.

It’s been a while since I took a train ride with you, but was mesmerized again! Love the way you are labeling the stops and showing the map at the beginning. I remember trying to go on Google Maps to see where you were going, so that helps a lot. I live in the middle of Texas, U.S.A. and no mountains, raging rivers or tunnels here. It’s like an escape to a faraway fantasy land, even though it’s just your everyday job! It really is special to me anyway. I doubt I will ever get to your beautiful country, so thanks for the time and quality videos.

Retired locomotive engineer and I used to run commuter trains from NYC Grand Central Station to Stamford and New Haven, Connecticut. I ran M-2's which have a very small control cab unlike your comfortable control cab. We at the time operated on 11 KV 25 cycle AC and later as this was the original AC installation for the country and the power plant was failing converted to 12.5 KV 60 cycle commercial power due to too many bridges which is why they never went to 25 KV power as that would have cost well over 1 billion dollars back in the 70's to raise all the bridges. When on the old New York Central under running third rail at 660 volts D.C. Which were covered in wood for safety. The electrification was installed on the NH in 1906 and NYC also in 1906.
      Thank you for your videos.

@@RailCowGirl , yeah, ya know, this specialized plural wording drives me nuts. Why not just put an "s" on the end like we do for every inanimate object? Deers is a whole lot easier to remember than "a herd of deer"....... but, you would still need The Herd as in "RCG Herd". One example that bothers me though, who ever heard of a "murder" of crows? Who ever came up with that? And since the plural of mouse is mice, shouldn't the plural of moose be miice? There is no rhyme or reason to any of it. Just none.
