That run was mainly because from Saliba to Holding and from Partey to Elneny.

How did tomiyasu the replacement for Saliba also get injured. Both injured on the same day. Europa league is a kamikaze cup. Liverpool are handling it well so far bc Liverpool are a European team but even they might feel the Europa soon.
That run was also bc of immaturity. Also we ran out of legs and energy after going 100 miles an hour the first 19 games winning 50pts in 19 games. That is a 100pt pace. Immaturity squad depth and out of gas all big contributory. Not just losing Saliba. Arteta is also more evolved as a manager this year and still inexperienced last year.

Ramsdale was the most shaky player last season...Arsenal fans will say he saved us many games but they forget he was conceding stupid unnecessary goals that were preventable. He panics alot in the build up.

Has it really been a duopoly? Liverpool have only won it once in the last six seasons. In those six seasons Man Utd finished 2nd once and Arsenal finished 2nd once. I think it has been a monopoly.

If you look past just the eventual winner list, its clear that Liverpool was a major rival to City throughout those years.

Havertz has improved considerably since the start of the season. However, his 3 most recent goals were against two teams that are going down and Newcastle side decimated by injuries.
Moreover, with the exception of Liverpool (that was very impressive) Arsenal had a nice run of fixtures and now have the hardest run in between the 3 title contenders. I don't see Arsenal winning the league even if they beat City. I'll be very impressed if they do.

Thing is it's gonna be so close. All 3 of Arsenal, Liverpool and City just look unstoppable atm. Will go right down to the wire. But I think if City beat Arsenal this weekend, then that'll be that for Arsenal. They need to avoid defeat (even if that's just a draw) to stay in the title race imo because I think once City overtake them, City would stay ahead. These are the late stages of the season now and this is the time of season when City reach their prime form. Last season they weren't in prime form until this stage (Arsenal were literally top for 93% of the season), then ended the season with an absolute bang and won the Treble
The interesting question is would i rather have the situation of last season with 10 games to go and the same injuries or this seasons? To be honest i think it has to be this season. Realistically it was 5 points the gap last season as city won their game in hand. 10 games to go with almost the full squad now sadly still missing timber or last season where we missed the likes of partey and saliba. Idk if well be able to do it but im just so happy after all those years of torture were back competing for the title on a regular basis.

As a United fan it's hard to watch these two our biggest rivals fight it out for the title! After United they are the most successful clubs of the premier league Era. It is a toss up with City slight favorites.

Last year remember City were 9 points behind Arsenal but they had 3 games in hand in a good part of the season due to them taking part in all competitions. Hence why they won the treble. City didn’t win the title from Arsenal last season. They simply won their games and that was enough. Arsenal lost games against West Ham. Southampton couldn’t beat them etc.
If Arsenal avoid defeat they win the league imo. Spurs is the only difficult game they have left after that one. If MC win though they have an even easier run in and it might well be them.
