Lee seems like the only person on AFTV who likes Havertz from what I've seen. Makes sense since he's actually played football a lot.

Havertz was our missing piece
One thing i will say about raya…he made a mistake…but i was then looking at him to see how he reacted. We should not be too harsh on him…because there were 3/4 crosses put in afterwards and he took all of them…that is experience…he knew he fucked up but he kept his head. If ramsdale made that mistake…does he come for those crosses and if he does…does he flap and get nowhere. After the mistake…raya was immaculate and this is why arteta brought raya in. I love rambo but i think last season he got too emotional and made too many mistakes in the run in…no other reason arteta gets another keeper. Maybe someone here can watch all our last 10-12 games last year and focus on ramsdale. Last season we gave away a fair few very early goals…this season we have not as far as i can remember. I believe because of his experience today after mistake…we won that game because the man took control of his box…he has a good mentality and it really showed to me today. 🙏🙏🙏

My sincere assumption is that Robbie was asleep or taking a drink when Havertz sent that sumptuous pass to Saka for the 2nd goal, and scored what turned out to be the game winner. Giving Raya a 4 instead of a 5 was harsh, same as Havertz getting an 8 instead of a 9 for overall contributions and the significance of being clutch.
Insane comment. A 5 is average. Raya is lucky to get a 4. We were cruising and he makes one of the howlers of the season. 3 at best.

I think it's just injury issues mixed with self doubt. He'll be himself again, most likely a few times before the end of the season. Just need to support him, be patient and he'll be good again. I still see glimpses of it, even today.

I'd slip Jesus there tbh, buy a proper ST to rotate with Havertz and then get a proper midfielder to rotate with Partey. I'd also buy a rotational RB for White, A player to rotate with Saliba and the Porto GK. Sell Ramsdale and bring in him. Have Raya as our rotation.
I think he got more of a defensive role which will obviously affect his ability to attack

If Havertz keeps his place we need our RF and LF creating goals and threats. Saka looks good but needs competition Perhaps getting a much attacking goal threat on out left hand side who is in form, has lots of pace, can score and assist. Can come in or on the outside would be an ideal signing vs a centre forward. A little like Liverpools triple threat Mane, Firmino and Salah.
What a fantastic run of games we had during April, few disappointing results that most likely will prevent us from collecting silverware this year but the boys have come on leaps and bounds and have gained so much experience. Nice we’re off and then Bournemouth at home is a lovely treat for them after the month we have had!

Arteta - 9 ( he got it right and should have overseen a 4 - 1, the execution on the part of the players simply wasn't there. This was summed up in the performance of our captain MØ8. There was a big atmosphere with really big emotions as the gaffe might say. You could feel every player just fighting to manage the emotional challenge. With the exception of Saka (who's maturity has always been so far ahead of his actual experience) and Havertz who does not bear the scars of Conte grabbing 4th with the enemy and of the disappointing finish to last season. And coming through those last 20 min and getting the 3 pts will go a long way in healing emotional scarring and giving the team greater belief this season will be different)
Can we get a video considering all factors and whether the David Raya potential purchase is justified?
Raya give away a goal and hoes from an 8 to a 4. Rice guves away a pen, basically a goal and goes from an 8 to a 7. Rice should get a 6 at best giving a way a pen especially at that moment in the game.
