The Magic Flute Manuscript contains a lot of Arsenic and other poison called Aqua Tofana. Never touch a Mozart manuscript because of this. Manuscripts are written originals by Wolfgang Amade himself. It's a very long painful death and touching the manuscript will kill.
This really proves that music runs through the blood and flesh of the mozart family, just imagine Leopold the father of wolfgang was a musician, wolfgang and his sister Nana were prolific keyboardists and Wolfgang is a genius of a composer and then here's franz following the footsteps of his father.
Genial!,probably if Franz Xavier lived longer he would be composed many good music and would be like Haydn famous because composer need a time to find his own style and getting more higher and higher. By the way the quality of recording very very good thanks to maestro Gunhart Mattes who create INSO and thanks to him the Ukrainian musicians start to changes in better way he first who find Franz Xavier Mozart. Also Herzlischen Dank Gunhart!
In fact he´s quite different from dad, but it wasn´t easy for him, as he constantly found himself compared to his father. He said so himself. (children of great artists nearly always experience that).
Curious it seems like an addition of Mozartian melodic phrases. Is this score really by the son Mozart and if so at what age did he compose it? youthful work which could explain this construction however paradoxically with its excellent string quartet composed very young where we does find this king of musical phrasing of his father but only the influence.
The introduction is very good. The first and second themes are both too predictable and closed. The transition and, especially, the closing of the exposition are much better. The development is understated, as often was the case with his father's. Overall, it is well above average.
As the overture to the cantata celebrating Haydn's 73rd birthday, it's in a rudimentary sonata form for brevity. It was actually written when he was 11 but due to illness Haydn couldn't attend the performance 3 years later.
W A M doesn't really belong to any particular style. The discussion usually stands in if he is a pre-romantic or neo-classical. However, he has such character in many of his pieces that it becomes very difficult to categorise, as they could fit in a broad set of labels, or none at all. It's his musical curiosity, accumulated culture and emotional intelligence that sets the bar to his independent expression, free from the rigid standards of styles... You feel it very much in the Entfürum aus dem Serrail, Le Nozze di Figaro and the piano concerto n23 in A major (for example, there are many more...!) That being said, it has nothing to do his son, each one has their own value as a composer, and it must have been very difficult for FXMozart to live under his father's shadow, without being constantly compared, exactly how it's still being done... I find that such a very difficult burden to get rid of...
Powerful ...The beginning reminds me of Magic Flute...
Of course!

Like the father, so the son. Like it.
Great job Franz Xaver! Daddy is proud for sure
El comienzo me recuerda a la Obertura de la Flauta Mágica. Se nota que es un Mozart. Excelente obra!!!
Amaizing!

Haydn offered Constanze to teach him after Wolfgang’s death abut she chose Salieri to be his teacher instead.
Surely he has his father's gene.
Yeaaaaa
I really like how this sound. Please stop the comparissons between him and his father. Both are Mozart but he's not his father.

Hi is just like his fader olsow a good componist
Thans
This always reminds me of WAM's Magic Flute Overture?

Is not his father! Wolfgang Amadeus was classical and Franz Xaver was pre-romantic. Franz Xaver was five months-old when Wolfgang Amadeus died.

This is like Rossini.
吳紹謙 I rather hear the young Schubert, the one of the first 5 symphonies and the young Mendelssohn, the one of the string symphonies .
Sounds like he also admired quite some Beethoven lol
This isn't half bad. He was no Wolfgang Amadeus, but then who was? :-)
Imagine if Franz and Beethoven linked up and created something.
It's like Mozart with no flavoring very Bland compared to his old man
