This may sound like a conspiracy theory but I think the PWHL wanted a franchise in Minnesota. They wanted to hire Ken Klee as the GM and head coach but found out he had no ties to The State of Hockey. So they think of the one person that has those connections and hires Darwitz. The players complain (Kendall) about the first coach...So he is gone. Now the PWHL suggests Klee as a replacement and he is hired to coach the team. Darwitz does it all with her connections...Getting the Excel, drafting players, picking the roster, you name it she did it. Now the PWHL has all those connections and no longer needs Darwitz. So they (Kendall Coyne and Ken Klee) come up with a flimsy excuse to file a complaint against Darwitz to get rid of her because she is no longer needed. Klee becomes the GM and the coach and Kendall gets her way and the man she wants in the driver seat. This may have backfired. Kendal Coyne and Klee have been found out and now they have to deal with Minnesota players who hate that this happened and the fans who buy tickets and merchandise watching their hockey hero get tossed out for no good reason. Just my take.

Yeah the latest rumors I've heard are some major clashing at the top and that but again this all seems strange. I've heard different reports as well and all we know is we may never know.

Yeah, I imagine if this happened in the NHL like there’s a lot of things obviously, we don’t know. Just a weird situation. I heard some people say maybe she’ll relocate to the Minnesota wild and help them win a cup😂

Are you getting any of their championship merchandise? I presume someone sells?

  • @EPiche09

The league didnt want to release thisnews till July 1 so they can bury it behind the draft and nhl free agency.

Yeah according to Joe Smith it was an issue with Klee who I wasn’t all that impressed with. And players took sides. It is a Minnesota thing to do, and it’s extremely disappointing!
