- Fanatics has revealed what alot of their jerseys will look like and exactly what fans can potentially buy. Will they be everything that it's hyped up to be? Guess we'll see.

Before the playoffs, I bought a friend a Barkov Adidas jersey to avoid the issues with Fanatics. It showed up with 2 captain patches on the arm (instead of 1 captain and 1 florida patch) and the NHL logo was in French.
That might be worth something down the road with those flaws

It’s nice to see Fanatics seems to have some quality in their NHL on ice jerseys. It will be really interesting to see what the quality is in their premium jersey, which is the one to match the original Adidas Indo prime greens. Would really like to know where they’re being manufactured.
Game model will be assembled in Canada. Semi authentic will be assembled in Indonesia.

I may get a few on ice pro jerseys, I’m definitely getting a Pittsburgh Penguins one because that’s my favorite team. Yeah, I think the whole major league baseball thing was due more to Nike than it was Fanatics. The NHL and or the NHLPA did not want major changes to the jerseys. The only major change I think they really wanted was reinforced elbow material. Apparently the equipment managers were complaining that due to I don’t know what you would call it like board rashes or something when they’re battling along the boards and stuff and the jerseys get tears.
It appears the size tag/made in Canada tag is heat sealed instead of stitched. If so, that’s terrible.
Yeah, that’s kind of goofy, but that might be one of those things that might be hard to replicate if someone were in the counterfeit jersey business. That’s my guess.
@@ssmith87 a heat sealed vinyl tag is easier to reproduce. They should have kept it like adidas and had the made in Canada tag stitched along the inside of the collar.

The Ducks team store just said the semi authentics will come from Indonesia.
As an Utah hockey fan, I won’t have any other choice other than the Fanatics jerseys (wishing we could have had an Adidas jersey). They seem like they’ll be okay though- at least for year 1.
I’ll probably get the one that’s the equivalent of the Adidas “authentic” jersey.
What happened with Adidas? Did their contract run out? I am curious 🤔 as to what the reason is that Fanatics got the contract. Or did the product from Adidas lose quality?
adidas' contract ran out and they didnt want to renew it.
Last I heard both Ben and Sports K were both saying they were retiring at the end of the Adidas era. I know both of them sold Adidas jerseys cheaper than Adidas, but I can’t see Fanatics allowing them to sell jerseys cheaper than what Fanatics has on their sites.
They have to sell to retailers for less so yes they'd still get them for similar price
Fanatics can't tell others what to sell their products for. That's not how it works.
Can't wait to get MIC jerseys whenever i want. Wish they'd make a couple Coyotes jerseys but i guess that won't happen. Wish i would've gotten a few more from adidas before they all sold out
