This is supposed to be a game based on in a vacuum, talent for talent, not based on team. You can’t have a different set of rules for Zach Wilson, it’s not about the jets being a mess. He’s bigger, slightly more athletic, and has a monster arm compared to Tua.

All I heard going into the draft was that Tua was the second coming of Christ. He was 10x better than Herbert and Burrow and was the best prospect this side of Luck. And all I was a no talent, mouthy, soft bodied midget who in nine starts got Miami over 30 points ONCE and finished with an 87 passer rating with a top 5 coach AND defense, oh and he was benched twice for Fitzpatshit. Meanwhile Herbert, whom the dolphins passed up on set virtually every rookie passing record behind the 32nd ranked Oline and the worst HC in the league.
In today's game if you don't have a top 10 QB, you have nothing (just ask the browns). Not only is Tua not a top 10, he's bottom 5. He's the latest iteration of a bama QB flaming out. Even IF he takes a colossal leap forward in his decision making, he's the most physically limited QB in the game today and you aren't going anywhere with that. With all those talented AFC QBs piling up, Miami will be bringing a pool noodle to a bazooka fight week in and week out.

Colin, take into account that Burrow threw 60 TIMES IN A GAME, if he throws for 300 yards it's not necessarily cause of him (yes you need to be a good QB to get 300 yards), maybe it's because he's on the Bungles, and is down by two scores at half all of the time. (i still like Burrow over Tua as a dolphins fan, it's just that just cause he threw for three hundred yards doesn't mean anything)
that was 1 game (against cleveland) of 10 games that he played, he threw for over 300+ in 4 other games, one also being against cleveland which he had 406 yards on 47 attempts.
my point is that burrow is better than tua and has been since his last year at lsu, people dont want to accept that tua is probably a bust.

@l Invincible l i used to respect (or just ignore) this dudes takes, but the hypocrisy in his takes are what made me just stop listening (i know he doesn't care). he's praising Mac Jones for all the same reasons he's tearing Tua down, he always chooses a QB over another QB because the other one is 6 inches taller and can throw the ball ten yards farther. he chooses Wentz over Tua even through he (Wentz) was abhorrent and Tua was just ok, he turned the ball over way less than Wentz, and had a better TD to INT ratio and did more with less starts. he chooses Danny Derps for the same reasons. even through Danny Derps turns the ball over way more times than Tua. Tua doesn't turn the ball over, and almost brought us back against KC with back up receivers (while his hip wasn't fully healthy). Chan Gaileys play calling didn't do well for Tua because Tua isn't a gun slinger like Fitz. Tuas most healthy receiver was Mike Gesicki, and he was amazing. he'll be better now with WRs that (if they stay healthy) will help Tua break the top off. Tua has Fuller (track star), Waddle (track star), Grant (if he soften his hands is a track star), Mike Gesicki is effectively a big WR, Albert Wilson (if he stays healthy is a really good WR. the O-Line should be better (i think it can be but i'm not 100% sure about it). i'm taking Tua over Wentz, Mac, Danny Derps, and Sam Cowherd. he praises Mac for being accurate even while not being the most athletic dude and what not. but since Tua is those same things he isn't a good QB.

I agree with Colin's take on Tua vs Trevor at 2:17, even as an Alabama fan. However, I don't think Trevor does EVERYTHING better than Tua. He does have better size, running, and a stronger arm, but I don't think he's any more accurate than Tua, and Tua has very good footwork also.
Notice how Colin describes the state of the Jets as a reason behind his decision. Wilson is a better QB than Tua in every way.
