I guess when the mom died, they get back to foster care which is slightly better than them living on their own or at the mister's house.
I hate horror games but for some reason, when Jake plays it, it's kind of comforting, imo he kind of neutralizes the vibe for ppl like me who don't like horror games and I think that's what makes him my fave streamer.

I don't get how they still had running water and electricity if their mom left, and since they can't pay for the trash collectors they can't really do anything about it.
maybe she received complaints once paying came… i guess that’s another reason why she opted for another house to live in - even a stranger’s - besides wanting mom back. and it all was to get attention, but attention doesn’t equal love :( guess that still doesn’t answer the question of how he continued to heat water for cup ramen or wash his clothes lol

the ending where the child smiled it probably might be a repeat of the kidnapper as he gets older since it’s a traumatic experience. and since he got relief or joy seeing his ignorant/good for nothing mother get what she deserves, it might fall into him being a kidnapper or killer in the future

That's the smile of relief and happiness coming from the death of his mother. That smile shows he was scared of and hated his mother from the bottom of his heart.

poor kids, couldn't focus on being scared cuz it is just such a depressing story. and "the kidnapper" probably had his own story which explains why he lives like this even tho i don't think he is a bad person.
Maybe the reason why jake playing horror games (especially chillas) is comforting is because he always knows what to do HAHAHAHA he always does things logically.

you know its a great horror game when jake plays it
this was definetly the weakest of the chillas art games didnt make much sense but im assuming mother abused her son, he killed her with the hammer and was trigged by the mother shouting killed their mother and the mc has been so worn down by his mother leaving, his sister leaving, stealing, being forced to be in some guys house, seeing a dead body already and maybe nightmares about clowns that he just kinda snapped like the guy and its a cycle of abuse story.
I assume the clown is because clows are scary to kids and everyone in school keeps spreading the story like when youre a kid and turn of the light and bolt it upstairs cause you feel like somethings chasing you.
the sister being abused by the mother wants the mothers aproval so she studies hard for good grades but isnt met with praise so she keeps pushing herself believing something is wrong with her and not that her mother is horrid, its easy to fall in yourself especially since the sister looks 13-15ish very vunrable i assume she met the guy due to him approching her and they trauma bonded i think mister is not mentally there because of the abuse maybe he has the mind of a child and is stuck in that age he was when he killed his mother thats why he wanted to play with the kids.
this story couldve been excuted better, definently a weak one.
I find that on the contrary this game is very well done because in itself everything you said in your paragraph is literally what happens in the game and I find it well executed even if the sister's action is really completely crazy and I would have thought of something other than the sister, like the mother trying to get rid of them and then there would be a good ending where the sister realizes the mother was neglectful and the two end up in a loving foster home would have been a better scenario for me. Because there is actually no good ending
@@Nomi1.0yeah, I wrote this as soon as I finished watching it, I think the sister and the clown threw me off especially the balloon scene, the rest of the game is quite good.

That kinda reminds me of a movie called nobody knows. It is a Japanese movie where the kids are left alone by their mom. And feels very bittersweet and sad, just like that game. Like there's no good ending for this.

Where did their mom leave for so long?
Who paid their utility bills?
Why did they not take the trash out? I understand how the sister might have been mentally exhausted so yeah but the sis was delusional af. How did the sister meet this "mister"?
Why did Renya (the mc) not report the dead body to the police?
What happened to the siblings after their mother was killed?
There are a couple more things I'm confused about but that's probably bc of the plot holes and like things were just hastily put together in this game.
But ngl the graphics in Chilla's Art games really improved a lot. This game was so sad throughout, it was hard to watch.🥲

I have a theory, I think Renya smiled at the end out of jealousy? Due to his sister being so ignorant (He probably wanted mom to die because he was tired from her blabbering. Just like how the kidnapper dude felt at the first part of the game). If you remember correctly, when Renya and his sister had a small conversation at 7:38. There was an option that spoke "I'm okay with just the two of us" implying that he does not care if mother isn't coming back. At the end of the conversation, he said "But, I'm here too sis" meaning all he wanted was his sister's attention.
Also, I wanna hear your guys' thought about all the clown sh dude. I'm confused? What does that have to do with the game? Especially this part 49:25 was Renya dreamin or sum???? Also.. wtf is this random jumpscare at 59:54 ??? 😭
