They murder and imprison their own people instead. 3 million Uyghurs currently in concentration camps (i.e. vocational training centers).

@Fei Long 黄飞龙 Um....you’re worried about 400 deaths in a country of 300 million when 3 million uighurs sit in CCP concentration camps and falun.gong are murdered for body parts on demand? Priorities. Sheesh.

@Fei Long 黄飞龙 “Whataboutism, also known as whataboutery, is a variant of the tu quoque logical fallacy that attempts to discredit an opponent's position by charging them with hypocrisy without directly refuting or disproving their argument. Whataboutism is particularly associated with Soviet and Russian propaganda.”

@Fei Long 黄飞龙 I've spent lots of time in China...and all over Asia. Yes, I have family in Hong Kong (and yes they are Chinese). Yes, the CCP has concentration camps. Yes, the CCP does not care about human rights. Yes, the murder and torture of Falung Gong is real. Yes, there is no democracy, freedom nor rule of law in China. Yes, HK and Taiwan do NOT want to be ruled by a dictatorship....and frankly would rather be US states than under the thumb of your Dear Leader.

@Fei Long 黄飞龙 RE: “400+ deaths of black innocent people who get murdered by white supremacists”
You’re watching CNN too much. I’ve never met a “White Supremacist” EVER. Don’t know anyone that has. When was this massacre of which you speak?
I watched the Tiananmen Square massacre live. I learned about the Great Leap Forward that killed 30 to 45 million people, the biggest mass murder in world history.
But I didn’t hear about this 400 black people massacre you mention. When was it and where did it happen? Did they catch the “white supremacists?”

What does it mean when china holds a military parade? This is like the first time they did. Second, they suffered a lot in WW2 when japanese came and started to slaughter chinese civilians. Do you really need more reasons? The parade is to honor those who perished in very INHUMANE conditions.

It is true that the US does not need the parade to show off its military power since we all saw its capability in real combat. But fighting undisciplined terrorists and badly equipped Taliban is not the same thing with fighting a developed nations with strong armies.
