this might be a dumb question but does the subwoofer have its own power source or does the amp power it?
The amp powers the sub, but the amp itself needs a power & ground wire (to the car battery and chassis) to operate.

@@trgxjas Every sub is powered by an amp of some kind. Even powered subwoofers and underseat subs have built-in amplifiers that power them.

Bro no matter how hard I look for that specific adapter I cannot find it! I well beyond know how todo everything else, I’m at a point where because I can’t find the adapter online I want to try & make my own… where tf do you buy that shit from man??
Hello. All you have to do is go to my website. From there you can put your vehicle model in the Search box. You'll see all the options for your car. If you just want pins/connectors/etc. that can be arranged as well, via email.
