TIRAMISU ICE-CREAM: The perfect weekend indulgence
Tiramisu is all the rage right now. You can find it everywhere! So, I thought, why not make an ice cream version of this classic dessert?
Imagine all the rich, creamy goodness of the classic tiramisu, now in a frozen treat that’s perfect for sunny days and sweet tooth nights and not to forget weekend Indulgences 😄
It's tiramisu, but even better because it's ice cream. This has quickly become one of Varun's favorite treats.
He loves it so much that he makes me bring it all the way from Kolkata to Bombay, just so he can have it as soon as we meet. That's how much he adores it! ❤️
It's super easy to make and incredibly delicious. Believe me, you're missing out if you don't try this.
Recipe:
Mascarpone cheese 200 gms
Vanilla 1 tsp
Condensed milk - 200 gms
Whipped cream - 200 gms
Mix everything togther and divide in 3. Keep one portion less than the other 2.
In the lesser one add 1 tbsp cocoa powder. Mix and keep aside.
Cold coffee espresso
Instant coffee 2 tbsp
Water 1/4 cup
For the coffee icecream, mix
Kahlua 2 tbsp
Cold coffee espresso 2 tbsp
Into the icecream mix
Take around 100 gms of vanilla cake. Soak it with the remaining espresso.
Now layer the three flavours in your icecream box. Sprinkle on the cake and chocolate shavings.
Repeat the step 3 times.
Freeze for 12 hrs until solid.
To serve scoop. Sprinkle on a little chocolate shaving and enjoy!!!
