You omitted the scene where the the 'holographic' Garibaldi fools the future fascist and then lets him know just how screwed he is as the missiles are incoming.
This show should be required viewing for just about every science fiction writer to learn how they can have a strong male character truly kick ass yet still be masculine without having to sexualise him and without having to dumb down everyone around him down just to make him look better or jump through every PC trope to emphasize how great things on screen are. TV really has fallen a long way in 20 odd years like.
You have to remember that not everyone finds the same things funny For example, many people love The Simpsons and Family Guy. I, on the other hand, see very little humor in them, as deliberate stupidly irritates the hell out of me I DO, however, enjoy Duck Dodgers

1:41 - I often have this nagging feeling that he should have deposited the cheque *first*, and then told them it's already been deposited. Granted, he just stopped the assassin they sent out to kill him and it's extremely unlikely they'll be able to get someone else up there to kill him before he deposits it, but it'd still have been safer to say "This is a receipt for a cheque I deposited an hour ago".
That's why he is terrifying. He KNOWS fear, as intimately as any lover. He knows just how to tug at anyone's strings like that, because his are already taut.

One of the few people I aspire to be like in my old age . :) I have always wondered about that last clip .... wouldnt Dalenn "get" slapstick or would that be too close to humiliation as defined by the Greats Remo and Zooty ? I always thought she would be laughing like a mad fool (as my mom would say) at Daffy .
If I remember correctly, slapstick is one of the things that Rebo says Minbari humor is not based on. Their humor is based on the failure to achieve enlightenment.

I've had a lot of good conversations in them but do be very careful if you want to stay free of spoilers (at this point in time you should!) Enjoy the journey. I watched it for the first time last year... wish I could repeat that experience. Best show ever. Never cried so much when one was over.
Now that I'm thinking about it again... there are a few CZcams channels doing episode by episode reactions to the show which is probably the most spoiler-free you'll get in any comment section (not perfectly, but mostly). Let me know if you want me to recommend the ones I've come across!

I got to meet the actor (Jerry Doyle) at a sci fi convention 22 years ago. He was a real class act in person as well as on screen.
Michael Garibaldi is one of those rare characters that comes together perfectly. Add to that Jerry Doyle played him incredibly well.
