How to clean and service your FELCO 31 pruning shears

What you'll need:
- A 14 mm wrench
- A 13 mm wrench
- A dry rag
- Scotch-Brite
- FELCO 990 grease
- Lubricating oil (sewing machine oil)
- FELCO 980 protective spray
Instructions:
1- Disassemble your tool
2- Clean all parts with a dry rag
3- Scrub each part carefully with scotch brite
4- Add FELCO 990 grease on to the counter blade
5- Reassemble your tool
6- Adjust your tool
To check whether the adjustment is correct, there should be no mechanical play between the two handles
7- Add some lubricating oil
8- Sharpen your tool:
Place the sharpener while maintaining a 20-degree angle on both sides of the blade by making circular motions from the base of the blade toward the tip.
9- Spray FELCO 980 on to your tool
