In this video I will show you some of the most popular Serbian snacks in the country. Now these snacks are Serbian, but many can be found all around the Balkan region. Just to say "sa vama" means "with you", bananica means (little) banana and kolaci means cookie. Also for American you speak Serbian pretty good (You are understandable and not like it is hard to understand you, it is actually very easy to understand you), only prob. is that you say ч (c with the "v" on the top) a bit pitched...

If you have time you should spend more time there and go to locals outside of big cities. Some people like me go so far with Plazma that it becomes the FIRST item that comes to your mind when parents get their paycheck 😄 You always get the 2kg pack (if it's in the store), but not the actual biscuits but the milled version (kinda like dust) and you put that and cover it in milk, and eat it. Looks like baby food tbh but very delecious.
Forgot to say, 2kg = 4.4 pounds

To add this also. You mention Pionir brand. So you should try Negro Toffee, for gummy candy you also have Negro or Pionir Gummy Menthol. For chocolate you have Galeb. For chocolate bar you have Kidy. Then you have Medeno srce or Honey heart. And many more. You can literally have one clip with just Pionir products. So you will have 100% Serbian snack episode.Also there is a company called Stark you can try Noblice. And much more. So many snacks.
I don't know if anyone had written about it, but kesten is chesnut. It is a chesnut puree, chocolate covered bar 😁

but honestly, your pronunciation is on point, better than 80-90% of English speakers. "Bananica" is pronounced as Bananitza ("Tiny banana").
p.s.: Watching this from Nis (Naissus), in the south. If you like snacks, you're gonna love real meals, especially burek and barbecue.
Another important thing - almost every sweet or salty snack comes in HUGE variety of tastes and fillings. Domacinski (Doh-ma-chien-skee) chips and regular Chipsy, for example, comes in hot chilly, EXTRA SUICIDAL HOT chilli, BBQ, Tzatziki salad, pizza and cream cheese. Same goes for Jaffa snacks, they have a lot of different sweet cakes and snacks which are all really phenomenal. So bring a translator next time and tell them what tastes you like :D.

I saw in comments u tried Smoki and Plazma. I have few recommendations for part 2 and u need to try it anyway: Najlepše želje (chocolate), Romansa keks (cookies), Štapici with peanut butter, Negro (bombons), Munchmallow (cookies), Jaffa cake (original one with orange flavour), Medeno srce (biscuit with honey) Išleri (cookies), Eurocream, Choco biscuit (Serbian product with eng name). In my opinion, Serbian best products, hope u ll try most of them. Cheers!
