they would quickly get replaced and blacklisted by all other business, over there is a caste system, and they dont like being challenged.

    • @MrKotBonifacy
      @MrKotBonifacy Před 3 měsíci

@@theterribleanimator1793 Actually, there IS NOT any caste system in Pakistan (and Islam), and that's why so many lower and lowest caste Indians converted to Islam under Mogul rule in India. All you needed to do was to repeat three times the right formula ("There's no God but Allah..."), and presto! - in this very moment you became magically transformed into a human being, equal (in theory, at least) to all nawabs and sultans of this world - from the former you, an "untouchable", a creature placed on a social ladder somewhere between a slave and a dog - whose career opportunities were akin to that of this Baldric character from "The Blackadder":
      - Well, I expect you'll go back to shovelling dung in the gutter where I found you ?
      - No. It took me years to get that job, I'll probably be back milking pigs or mucking out the lepers. (...) it'll be years before I get back to shovelling dung again.
Unfortunately, the effects of this "negative selection", if you will, can be observed to this day - that aforementioned "magic" could turn you into a human being, albeit not exactly educated one ("garbage in, garbage out") - suffice to say that in newly created Pakistan there weren't enough people educated enough to staff all post offices in the country, and eradicating that legacy of a large percentage of the population coming from uneducated and unsophisticated strata is slow and difficult process... But I digress here.
So no, no caste system in Pakistan. And while I can't really evaluate your animation skills, as far as history/ geography knowledge goes... Well, "a very apt characterisation indeed" I'd probably say. But then it's America, so... ;-)

The quality and precision of their work is totally adequate for what they are doing. Take a closer look. They ride camels to work, wear sandals on a dirt floor, and probably couldn't use a computer if they had one. And yet they still turn out very nice work using machinery that we would have scrapped decades ago. I can't say enough good about their work.

why was it necessary to align the part on the outside, if the hole is important... it was necessary to set the runout to 0 along the hole, and then sharpen the outer diameter. it would have worked out exactly. + the workpiece is pulled out of the chuck, it is too big + cutting modes of 10mm per side...

      @@friedmule5403 , При чем сдесь Women?? 😄.

      @@-_---__------________ TRANSLATED:
What does Women have to do with it??. The machines are old, and all of the stepper screws are worn out or replaced with raw ones. And the main reason is that you need to constantly remove the tool to get rid of chips. Which has nowhere to go. Because the drill bit is smaller! Longer than the part. And on the lathe, you need to take it out often. And this is a long time and there is a possibility of breaking the drill, accidentally crashing into the part, if you drive up at accelerated feeding. On drilling, it's faster.

my sincerest pity for these good people that have no choice but to labor in the most primitive of conditions
risking life and limb, producing 3rd rate "parts" that won't hold up over time due to the lack of precision and
cut-rate material . . . i doubt if the O.D. is concentric within .030" to ANY of the minor OD's, and the one
positive thing about the surface finish is that it will retain lots of oil with all those pockmarks

Those machines are old an in desperate need of s dull rebuild if not a replacement. You can do accurate work with substandard machines. Just look at the cutting inserts? If yiu can still call them that. And the block of steel? To make a piece like that takes specialised steel from a professional steel mill not a glorified hobby/backyard business. I highly doubt the steel is even fit doe purpose and probably would have a lot of imperfections from what they put in it. Cutting gears is an art form and tolerances have to be precise. But I'm going to say that what comes out of that factory is anything but precise. I'd you want to see how gears are made properly just look up the videos on here
