I’m going to be attempting to construct a base underneath the world in Subnautica. In order to do so, I will have to travel into the Void, use my PRAWN Suit’s grappling arms to make my way underneath the world, find the flat area where I will then construct my base, and then make my way safely back to the surface. I’m honestly not even sure if this is possible as something like this has never been attempted before but I guess we’re about to find out…
Update: I ended up saving my PRAWN suit from where it was lost in the Void. In the video, I said I was going to make a sequel showing how I saved it, but to be honest, saving it just wasn't interesting enough to make a full video out of it (it was very repetitive). Oh, and if you're curious as to how I saved the suit, I activated the infinite oxygen glitch ( • Subnautica’s Final Upd... ), traveled down into the Void near to where the PRAWN suit was located, used a Stasis Rifle to protect myself from the Ghost Leviathans (I shot it against the wall repetitively while swimming down), built down with the habitat builder until I was roughly under the PRAWN suit, built foundations the PRAWN suit could land on, marked the foundations with a beacon, swam up, entered the PRAWN suit, and piloted it to land on the foundations. From there, I boosted up, grappled onto the walls of the Void, and exited the Void by pulling myself up with the PRAWN suit's grapple arms. Was very stressful but definitely worth it. But yeah, it was honestly too boring to be a CZcams video.

I just figured out a theory on how Marguerite maida survived the kharra bacteria maybe while she was eating the reaper she was being either slowly being cured by the reaper because the enzyme peepers gave the reaper some of the enzymes OR she while she was eating it she was slowing the kharra bacteria by eating the reaper. Theory end

Hey a while ago you were questioning how the life in the below zero environment survived I figured out the answer the whole argument for why the cold didn’t affect it is it was apparently alive in the leviathan but you’re confusing the symptoms with the actual virus the cysts at least without a proper cure wouldn’t just poof out of existence the moment the virus was gone and the cysts disappearing is something your body actively does when a Virus is gone the body was dead at this point so there was nothing to get rid of them and the cysts just got preserved with the rest of its body so all we know it could be and is probably disease free

The underside of the world used to be different before the 2.0 update. The void dropoff went down about 3000 meters on all sides and then at the bottom was a sort of 'lip' that flattened out. You can see this in one of IGPs videos, but the underside used to actually be just one giant flat plane. Until 2.0 they made this stair step like pattern that goes deeper inwards to optimize the game and to accomodate for the lava zone and stuff like that.
That was actually before the Big Little update. And yeah, it used to be really cool.
Fun fact 1400 meters down below the alien gun island is a empty box :)

We aplso have the last alien purple tablet who us still intact just under the beach sand we can use if we manage to no clip one way or another without using the console command to manage to do that exploit 😅but if you manage to do this! Then congratulations your no longer have to craft your owne purple artefact to be able to acces all the allien cache and also all the alien base just because one of the purple tablets have been broken long time ago before your crash landing misery 😔

The creators had no clue what they had with Subnautica. It's horror to the point of being therapy if you fear deep waters and Below Zero just fell flat. Still fun, but lightning in a bottle.
Seeing these Subnautica “backrooms” for some reason reminds me of the whole Crater being on a Reefback theory.

Got down into these backrooms with my cyclops in the past, shield generator with ion powercells did the trick for avoiding ghost leviathans. Now that I know you can build a base down here that is something i would very much like to try
You could go lower than your prawn suit and bild son platforms and then go back to your prawn suit maybe the platforms will catch it

Probably too deep? Fully upgraded cyclops can go down 1700 metres- not to mention the 3 ghosties.
