Don’t be concerned with when you discovered Queen. What’s important is that you appreciate Queen’s music and your enthusiasm shows! Keep up the good work, man.
Thanks! Better late than never. 🙂
The opening to this version just beautiful. Can't beat Freddie he is unbelievable.
They once asked Freddy what instrument he played, his reply, the audience darling. Best ever front man!
Love that!
97.8% of all Queen is better live than studio version.
lol you are high!
@555vibes....please listen to "save me" van Queen...this one always bring me to tears
Try , Who Wants to Live Forever, live in Budapest. It is simply amazing.
Wahoo!! 🎉 My favorite song! My favorite live performance of my favorite song!! 🔥🔥 Powerful & playful penned by Freddie inspired by his love for Aretha Franklin!! The complete concert is FIRE 🔥 Gotta do FAT BOTTOMED GIRLS next from this same concert!! Red Jacket Alert 🚨‼️💯♨️
Me too Debra
Freddie's voice is unmatched.
Did you know that even scientific study confirms Freddie Mercury had an unparalleled singing voice. That what makes his voice so special was extremely fast vibrato 7.04 Hz and subharmonics. He was able to create several more layers of harmonics than anyone else. Freddie was using a subharmonics by vibrating his ventricular folds, a technique usually found only in Tuvan throat singers. One of the conclusions from the studies was that "Mercury was vibrating something in his throat that even Pavarotti couldn't move and that kind of creates a very typical vocal fingerprint"
check out Queen Under pressure live at Wembley 86,
Fat bottomed girls live at Bowl 82 White queen live at the Odeon 75
Couldn't miss this, my all time favorite, queen! Freddie was once in a generation singer, so glad I was there for the legend that was queen, this song is in about a five way tie for my favorite of theirs. I don't believe anyone can ever come close to the talent and showmanship. So appreciate the video and commentary, thank you for the thoughtful commentary
Loved it!
Freddie Mercury degree in Graphic Arts and Design, Sir Dr Brian May PHD in astrophysics, Roger Taylor degree in Biology after changing from Dentistry, John Deacon First Class Honours Degree in Electronics one AMAZING band love Queen ❤
The best live version ever
One of my two favorite live performances of this song. Thank you .
Different accomplishments/goals of studio vs. live. Glad and grateful to have both. Milton Keynes was a wildcard concert, passion out of the park. Might not have been the best filmed concert (like Montreal) BUT it is electric and the audience drives Queen (particularly Freddie).
Rainbow. Early 1970’s queen. Especially White Queen.
Try 1975 White Queen at Hammersmith Odeon - early Queen where Freddie’s piano and Brian’s guitar literally do a musical dance that will blow you away with John Deacon’s bass and Roger Taylor’s drumming form the back structure. Listening is a journey. Also 1976 at Hyde Park -You Take My Breath Away is mesmerizing. Thanks. ❤
I also highly suggest watching the actual music video for this song. It’s pretty freaking amazing as well! You get to see how beautifully they harmonize together, and Freddie’s voice is ridiculously good!
Thanks, I will.
If you want to see a beautiful music video of Queen than "save me" is, the one you must see
I have never been to a concert, unfortunately. Their extreme popularity, hit kind of just before my big impactful music years! They were so popular in the 70’s and my big music years were the mid 80’s, but you couldn’t be that close to the 70’s and not be aware of Queen! Plus’s, my husband is 6 years older and a big 70’s music guy, so now I am big in both decades!❤❤. Glad you enjoyed them, love songs with piano, 70’s Billy Joel was the same. Also love older Chicago wither their brass section in their songs, such beautiful music! Great reactions!👏👏👏
Queen in concert implies spontaneity; nah! It's planned perfection and I've seen them recover magnificently when necessary. Also I believe the drinks on the piano emphasise we're here for a good time. In other words, party-time props.Love your commentary. Deaky and Freddie, Roger and Brian are my favorites. lol
Thanks so much!
Freddie was full of passion and emotions and his untrained vocal could deliver what he wanted to say.
Queen, for me is "save me" one off the best song. And "play the game". And " i was born to love you".
Yes and yes
Thank you to you, being a young man. I was only 4 years old here but his music is legendary and still gives me chills. Literally every generation love him. A genius.
You really need to check out White Queen live at Hammersmith Odeon 1975. It is a masterful performance. Also "March of the Black Queen" is really a song that sums up the ability of Queen. The trilogy of "Ogre Battle/Fairy fellers master-stroke/Nevermore is a great threesome that cuts to the heart of what Queen is actually capable of. "It's Late" is a hidden gem song of theirs that is worthy of a listen.
One of my favourite 😊 please react to Queen White Queen Hammersmith a night at the Odeon you’ll be amazed 😊 God bless 😊
You have so many more Queen….can’t wait❤️🎼❤️🇬🇧
Me too!
From this same concert do “back chat “ live 1982 Milton Keynes 🔥🔥🔥thanks boss
Nice reaction, man! I could list about 20 Queen songs, at least, that are mind-boggling. Some that come to mind are : You Take My Breath Away (1976, Freddie alone at piano), White Queen (live), Breakthru (video), Keep yourself Alive, Bohemian Rhapsody (music video), Don’t Stop Me Now (music video)…Enjoy..
Thanks!
Hello Sir! Please check out Queen - Save Me ( Montreal 1981) and Queen - Get Down Make Love ( both studio and Montreal 1981) Cheers and all the best!
Correction, Dr. Brian May is a professor of astrophysics!
An excellent show all around. This is an outdoor show & they sound fantastic.
There are always 2 large plastic cups filled with beer directly in front of Freddie in each of the live videos you've seen. The others are Dixie cups filled with water. He's a rock star, the idea of him sharing beers is ridiculous. If you watch the Montreal '81 concert film you'll see him drink beer on camera more than once.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
With show time approaching, towels and drinks for the band’s refreshment on stage would now be strategically placed: water and beer for Fred, beer for Brian and Roger and the Backstage Bar for John, comprising water, beer, soft drinks, wine and whatever spirit or cocktail he fancied at the time: Southern Comfort, vodka or tequila.
- Peter Hince (aka Ratty), Fred’s and John’s roadie and head of Queen’s crew.
I thought I had seen every Queen video but pretty sure I haven’t seen this one - awesome - thanks so much for playing it. Freddie drank alcohol - that piano looking beer is supposedly champagne.
Another fun Brian May fact, he and his dad built his guitar and 50 years later he still plays it! Come on Brian! You under achiever you!!!🤣😍
Brian May’s father was the person who made the guitar that Brian is,playing. They sell them still today.
Next reaction VOB "God allow me please to play music"VOB BAND TRIO HIJAB 🇮🇩 VOB LIVE at WACKEN OPEN AIR (GERMAIN)2022👍 VOB AMAZING super talented ♥️🤟
Queen 🔥❤️🙌
Thanks for bringing Freddy back! By the way, I was there. I was just a new graduate from High School (About Pentatonix's cover to 'Bohemian Rhapsody'. At the end of the video the 4 falling stars before the last verse represented the four main members of "Queen" You see Freddie was into Astronomy (I believe he had a degree of education into it.) Where do you think the name "Mercury" came from? (The closest planet to the sun.) Anyway. May God rest his soul...
Freddie was not into Astronomy (except maybe casually, but no more so than anyone else) -- it's Brian who is the one into it ... he has a PhD is Astrophysics (Dr. Sir Brian Harold May, nowadays).
In Brian's "spare time" (lol) he consults and collaborates with NASA and the European Space Agency using yet a THIRD talent of his : 3D stereoscopic imaging/ stereoscopic photography.
Wasn't at Milton Keynes or Live Aid, but I WAS at The Rainbow in '74 and Earl's Court in '77.
Putri Ariani also sang Sonebody to love. That was also amazing.
Love this song. Pentatonix did a cover of this that you need to check out. Another reactor reacted to that and gave Mitch the nickname, Mitchy Mercury.
Please do "White Queen" live at the Odeon - Hammersmith 1975
BRIGHTON ROCK .. Brian guitar solo is magnificent!!
The song was featured in the film “Baby Driver” 🚗💨
Subbed 🎉🎉
Thanks!
They are, and will always be, my absolute favorite. Since we are kinda out of order here is them making the song “One Vision” in the studio. This would be after Live Aid but before Freddie’s final concert tour. It gives you some insight into how they created a song and the equipment and process they used at that time. Even if you don’t want to react to it, you can watch it. Even though several have reacted to it!

Please Watch the queen 1986 wenbley full concert and comment it.
Don't know if you did the Montreal 81 version but you must so amazing
I did, that was the first video. Amazing!
@@555Vibesi'll have to look that one up. May I suggest that you do individual songs from Wembley Sat night. My faves are Under Pressure, Kind Of Magic, Who Wants To Live Forever just amazing loving your reactions 💕
Definitely, thanks.
@555Vibes have you seen Queen Days of our lives documentary? If not you should check it out. I've seen people react to it and they did it in sections but if nothing else you should check it out
HEYYYYYYYYY..
THANK YOU, SOOOO MUCH for this reaction!!
Since you like this song so much....
THERE'S ONE MORE PERFORMANCE IN 1979 that you should check out!
At Odeon Hammersmith in 1979
HERE'S A LINK TO A REMASTERED VERSION FROM JUST A MONTH AGO, THAT SEEMS TO BE THE BEST QUALITY:
czcams.com/video/jwd22SwbNvA/video.html
Thank you! Appreciate that.
@@555VibesThe first few seconds of the video aren’t very good quality - the original tape must’ve had flaws in it - and every remaster I’ve seen has the same flaws. The only way around them w/b to just crop off the beginning, but then we’d miss Fred’s always-unique song intro.🫶
Hi!
Its me again ;)
Glory to Ukraine!
About beer on the royal piano:
it's all Heineken.
At all concerts, after 1975, a bottle of this brand stood on the piano so that it was visible to the camera. This concert is no exception.
As a sign of respect for many years of cooperation and the 40th anniversary of "Bohemian Rhapsody", Heineken released a special holiday advertisement. Check it out, it's just an amazing video.
Heineken is the same brand of Queen as Guess jeans, Adidas and Nike sneakers, Fender guitars and Ludwig drums.
In fact, Freddie liked to drink and knew how to do it both on stage and in everyday life.
His favorites are "Crystal" champagne, "Stolichnaya" soviet vodka and various light light beers.
Thanks for the comments!
@@555Vibes all thanks for you) your reactions make me goosebumps)))
I’m pretty sure the beers and stuff drinks are John’s drinks. John loved his booze.
You have to watch the official video for Bohemian Rhapsody - 1975. Then watch the crowd at the Green Day Concert in Hyde Park singing Bohemian Rhapsody to the soundtrack that was playing over the PA system before the concert. That was 2017 - 42 years after Bohemian Rhapsody was first released and 26 years after Freddie's death. Amazing......... Bohemian Rhapsody official video czcams.com/video/fJ9rUzIMcZQ/video.html Green Day crowd singing czcams.com/video/cZnBNuqqz5g/video.html
I saw the Montreal 81 performance before this one. Perhaps it's a case of first impressions and all that but Montreal , for me , is a better version. Still , I'm not complaining 😂😂
Next reaction VOB" ENTER SANDMAN "Metalica cover VOB BAND ROCK TRIO HIJAB from 🇮🇩 VOB consert LIVE AT (FRANCE) TRANS MUSICALES DE RENNES 2021👍 VOB AMAZING super talented ♥️🤟
Thanks, 555 - if you saw the Montreal 1981, then you can appreciate how good they are with the "same" song... each performance was a bit different... but still amazing.... YES.. live is the best way to see Queen - the entire BAND... I enjoy your reactions.. if you care to hear some of best of Sir Doctor Brian May.. he recorded a video of one of his solo songs on Tenerife/Canary Islands, Spain - which was done a while back, but so beautiful - check it out when/if you have time & inclination.... czcams.com/video/rJI_CkHJ9Z0/video.html
Thank you! Ill check the link out.
Breakthrough. Innuendo. The invisible man.
I tell you, what does it matter what’s on the piano?.....people in the U.S. always ask that question.....at least it’s not guns?.....I thought this was about the music
