Hi!! I think the showers were left for everyone who is using a sun chair too cool off. I understand the pools are very smal and limited so sunning yourself on a deck with no pool the shower would be great for me!
Ah, that could be! Never thought about sunning in a swimsuit and then possibly popping into the shower!!
Love your attitude when things didn’t go 100% smooth. And I love this concept of an Italian theme. I hope they continue and even expand upon it. But my guess is it will slowly become just another Carnival ship.
For these two ships, Firenze and Venezia, they're planning to keep the theming, as far as I know. Luminosa got the full Carnival-ization, which was a bit of a shame!!
Several of us had said that last cruise about the key lime pie, tasted like a cheesecake with zest of lime sprinkled on top! It was great meeting both of you at the Diamond and Platinum party on the OG inaugural cruise.
That little pie was sad, ha ha... I think they actually forgot to add an ingredient or something... so strange! Great to meet ya as well!! :D
Your Carnival Firenze Pt. 1 was perfect. I was on the inaugural with you and today is first day back at work. It was a nice way to ease back to work and watch. I met you first at Tomodora on Sea Day 1 and you both were so kind for a picture in Marketplace last Wednesday! Thanks for sharing.

So glad I had the honor of meeting y’all on the inaugural sailing! It was definitely one of my favorite cruises I’ve been on! The ship was beautiful! Loving this new fun Italian style concept! Hope you guys had fun on the 5 day sailing! Wish I could’ve stayed for that! Can’t wait to see the videos! Ciao for now!

My favorite ecrivisse en croquette, aka Crawfish in phyllo dough, YUM. It's so hard to find! I am so glad you got to try it!.

Wow, great couple of days, and the one thing I find concerning is the NOT HOT food. Room temp food is a health hazard and I think the waiters need to be told. I like those breakfast options but they need coffee service.

It was tough finding pleasing temperatures on food for both of our first sailings... nothing was cold in particular, but nothing was pleasantly warm!!

The pants are from Old Navy they are a style called Playa. They have lots of colors and a few patterns.

so awesome so see your prespective on the ship...i also had the chicken pasta at dinner for an app and the chicken was overcooked as well(and so was teh chicken with someone else at my table)
Some of the chicken dishes were really struggling it seems... we had some hits and some misses for sure!!

We just got off the Venezia and this is taking me right back there. Everything looks the same. Love that avocado basil cucumber soup. Agree with your food critiques, though. So excited to see more.

Woohoo! Yes, this ship is basically a copy of Venezia, other than a few small touches like the meatball place, the upcharge empanadas, upcharge wings, etc.

Wonder if you can get a broken fried egg, with cheese then a biscuit then gravy on the side? Make your own biscuit sandwich? THAT would be awesome. As long as the gravy was good, that's the main thing. If not, then if you can get a single biscuit, the broken egg and cheese and make it your own I'd eat it.
Possibly so! The omelet stations can usually do eggs to order, unless they've stopped that in order to speed up service... the same reason that they've scaled the omelet menu down... hmm.

It was when you were by the steakhouse, outside, and there were like holes with grass that you could look through. Love the video!
How was your cabin? It looks very tight to me esp the space to walk between the bed and the wall. Have you thought about rating the cabin like you do for the shower?
The cabin storage was lacking, but the layout and size were about what we're used to on an interior cabin. We didn't have any issues with the space beside the bed.

Jay, u folks were staying in a interior room on the lower Decks? Like below the Water line of the ship? How was that? I kinda would be afraid of those below the waterline decks. Lol

Typically, yes!! :D
as someone that just got off the CCL Glory I might have killed someone for all those outlets. You had zero USB's and one total normal plug in for the whole room and it wasn't in the bathroom. I assumed this was fixed at the dry dock.

It’s Terraza cabins access only until 7pm, then open to all after that!! :D

Everyone on the inaugural sailing got the sunglasses and water bag, and some people on the second sailing did, but not all. I presume that means they've run out now!!
