- Carnival Firenze is here and we’ve put together a full tour of the public spaces on board. This rapid tour brings you from Deck 15 all the way to Deck 1 highlighting the beauty Carnival’s newest ship has to offer - all in less than 20 minutes!
Getting to experience Carnival Firenze for the first time has been a true DREAM for Rocky and me. We’ve met so many subscribers and it’s been a true honor. I hope that today’s video brings you smiles and joy - and that you can sense even just a little bit of our excitement about the newest Fun, Italian Style ship based out of Long Beach, California.

It has been the trip of a lifetime. I feel like I day that on every inaugural we’ve had the chance to be a part of, but this truly has been next level. Many of the crew members haven’t seen passengers in months, and so they are over the moon to take care of passengers! It’s been so much fun. You are going to LOVE the ship and we can’t wait to hear about your experience!!! -m
Thank you Mark. This is going to set a very high bar for our next cruise since it's our first😮 May end up being our only ship out of Long Beach lol. It's our home port since we live in Northern California lol, we are closer to SF but not a lot of warm weather cruises out of SF. Not sure we would want to go to an older ship after staying on such an amazing one😂

Great tour! I would be all about a Terrazza Interior cabin! Seems like a great value to have access to that exclusive area right by the cabin.

I like you guys introduce the ship from deck to deck and show some kid’s space. Other YTB just show their adult spaces and shows. my first thought this is not a kid friendly ship.
Thank you for watching the video! This ship may not look like your typical Carnival ship, however there’s still plenty of fun activities for the young cruisers to enjoy! This third sailing has the most children we’ve seen across the three itineraries and they seem to be staying busy during the day.

We very much enjoyed Color My World (first introduced on Carnival Celebration) and Dear Future Husband (first introduced on Carnival Jubilee). We also enjoy the Welcome Aboard Show, Love & Marriage in the theater, and the live music throughout the ship! So much entertainment across Carnival Firenze, but the theater is our favorite! Excited for you to experience this gorgeous ship!!
Hi guys, thanks for the review. I felt like something was missing on this cruise ship. For example, the live shows fell short of what I come to expect from Carnival. I have been on older Carnival ships that have better live shows. One thing I did like was the "Deal or No Deal" game show. I actually won two prices!
Congrats on the Deal or No Deal prizes!! :) As for the shows... we discovered Color My World on the Carnival Celebration inaugural and fell in love. When it was announced to be part of Venezia, we were so excited!! And then we got to see it again on Carnival Jubilee - and now Carnival Firenze. Probably my favorite show right now in the fleet (tho, Epic Rock is still up there!)
Dear Future Husband was first introduced on Carnival Jubilee and in my review of that ship, I shared that I thought it was ok... not my favorite. We saw it again on this sailing and enjoyed it, but I can see what you're saying... it's not like some of the older shows!
We LOVE the ship overall. One of our favorites from Carnival, for sure. It just has such a wonderful feel to it. Hope you had a good rest of your sailing!! -Mark

We recommend joining the Facebook group(s) for your cruise. It all depends on the length of your sailing on what evening events will be available.
The "secret" lounging areas at the front of the ship (decks 6,7,9,10,11,14) are maybe worth a mention - some of those are only accessible via stairs from other decks or unmarked doors, and were a great way to escape the crowds on the Venezia.

What a gorgeous ship! A pity I'm living in Europe and the ship was transferred from Costa to Carnival (well, it was supposed to be for the Chinese market anyway 🙂).

We included the deck plans because that speaks to us as well. We think that Carnival did a great job at maintaining the Italian flare of this ship! Simply gorgeous!

Is the use of the sauna included, or is there a fee? Can’t wait to see your tour of the Terrazza Cabana, as that is where we will be staying.
The sauna in Cloud 9 spa is included in your cruise fare!

Hi there! Unfortunately they don’t have any launderettes available for passengers. All laundry needs to get routed through the cabin steward.
I think I need to try a Carnival Cruise, but it will only be on a Mark and Rocky group cruise!

@@Jon_T19 That is so true! There's a lot of negativity out there we find (in general). We work to bring a bit of positivity and light to this hobby (obsession?) we love so much. We keep coming back to Carnival for the fun, but appreciate that it may not be for everyone. That's the beauty of cruise; we truly believe there is a line out there for everyone!! Are there showers in the gym/spa locker room? Is it available to all guests or only with spa treatments?
There is indeed a shower in the locker room. The locker room facilities (shower, single restroom, lockers, towels, and sauna) are included for all guests on board. Hope that helps! -mark
We are going with family for the week of Thanksgiving this year. 15 of us! Is there space in the main dining room where we could sit near each other? Like two big tables?
Oh yes! Both dining rooms (Medici and Michelangelo) have several large tables in them! Shouldn’t be too much of an issue. May want to chat with the maitre’d in embark day just to make sure everything is locked in for your group.

Can you confirm if the Terrazza Cabanas have hammocks? I thought I saw a video with them but now I'm not seeing them in any of the more recent ones. 😢
We have walked through the Terrazza space several times and have not seen any on the cabanas. We didn’t even see mounting brackets for them, so we don’t think the Terrazza Cabanas will receive hammocks. Sadness.
Did you guys happen to notice if the fitness center had foam rollers to use?? I'm sailing in a couple weeks trying to decide if I should bring my mini one for travel

Thank you so much! We had to go back into the gym to find out the answer; they do not have foam rollers. As for the slushies, they have done great flavors and Virgin versions are also available!

Lido deck and pool seems sooo small.. does it get packed?
It can get busy for games and trivia hosted on the Lido. During sea days, there’s a large amount of other places to lay out: deck 5 lanai (wrap around), deck 11 near the mini golf and in the aft, and on deck 12 intertwined with the jogging track.

I was debating between doing this ship or doing the Harmony this week and am on the Harmony of the Seas now. Sadly, Carnival just can not compare to the amenities offering of Royal and I feel like I would get bored on the Firenze.

We sailed Harmony and found it to be a bit boring. To be fair, we sailed with loyal Royal cruisers and they agreed something was off with the sailing. So we’ll definitely check out a different RCL ship at some point.
Maybe we’ve just been spoiled with all there is to do and eat on a Carnival ship. I can absolutely confirm that Harmony doesn’t hold a candle to all of the included fast casual dining spots on oard Carnival Firenze. That’s a huge differentiator!

Stay tuned to the channel for more content. We didn’t spend a lot of time in many of the venues because there was just so much to share! We’ll be posting many more videos to the channel in the coming weeks of the various spaces.
Why is the non smoking casino so much smaller 😩😩😩
We wish we could answer that. There really isn’t a setup that would appease everyone and they saw an opportunity in that smaller space. We’re just happy to see a non-smoking option!

We tried to cram a lot in 20 minutes or less! ;) We plan to spend a bit more time in those areas between sailings when there aren’t kids on board.
