Spider-Man: Far From Home / Spider-Man teams up with Nick Fury and fellow superhero Mysterio to stop four massive elemental creatures -- each representing Earth, air, water and fire -- from wreaking havoc across Europe. / Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, Peter Parker (Tom Holland) returns in Spider-Man: Far From Home. Our friendly neighborhood Super Hero decides to join his best friends Ned, MJ, and the rest of the gang on a European vacation. However, Peter's plan to leave super heroics behind for a few weeks is quickly scrapped when he begrudgingly agrees to help Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) uncover the mystery of several elemental creature attacks. Spider-Man and Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) join forces to fight the havoc unleashed across the continent but all is not as it seems.

Its actually nice of him to realize he HAS to kill him. He never wanted to. Such a nice guy
Even tho he doesn't care about the normal people going to get hurt, nice
Well he doesn't HAVE to.
He was just gleefully talking about how many innocents he can kill to get more coverage....
In case someone's doesn't know it said by ironic tone. Mysterio just don't wanna have unnecessary trouble while "being" a super Hero, besides he need a tons of efforts to kill real super hero.
Who he wants to kill?
This guy's the main responsible for NWH outcome... What a villain.
Lmao I just realized NWH happens just because of a single video. Peter lost A LOT just because of this guy. Peter may win the fight but not the war

Everything need to be restarted and rebooted.. Tom Peter Parker lost everything including MJ’s memory of him..
@@lordBob87 they will still remember spider man, just not Peter Parker at all... It was a truly gut punch by the end of the movie.
Crazy to believe that basically everything that happened in NWH was the consequence of this one man’s backup plan. This one man destroyed everything for Peter. Even though he had a weak on-the-nose origin in the MCU, he was designed, performed, and played his role in the universe masterfully. A true villain changes the course of the protagonist’s life dramatically, and that’s exactly what Mysterio has done! Still (imo) one of the best MCU villains! I still hope he secretly faked his death at the end of this movie, because it would be a crime for Jake Gyllenhaal’s Mysterio to be a one off villain.
Tom’s Spider-Man has honestly had 3 incredible central antagonists in the MCU: Vulture, Mysterio, and the Green Goblin!
Thats not accurate. Everything happened in now way home because Dr strange couldn't get a spell right. Isn't that what happened?
@@festo8756 It’s not Doctor Strange who couldn’t get the spell right, Peter tampered with the spell multiple times until everything unraveled.
Also, they wouldn’t have even had to attempt that spell in the first place had Mysterio not revealed Spider-Man’s identity to the world. Hence everything that happened in NWH was the result of Mysterio!
It was actually because Peter didn't know how to make a wish.
But.
BUT.
It's also crazy that Mysterio, the villain that was (at least rumored) meant to appear on Spider-man 4 but never made it, triggered the events we witnessed.
@@buccaneercat it was definitely mysterio lol idk why people even dare say its all peter , without mysterio none of this would have happened 🤣
In Old Man Logan comic he trick Wolverine to killed entire X-men.
I just have a great appreciation for how they gave him such a cool and modern origin story that is spiritually entirely consistent with his historic origin as a special effect master. And after Thanos, we have a flesh-and-blood, mortal villain which has altered the life of Peter Parker in the MCU, which made him an outstanding villain.
Nope hated his origin. This spiderman was already around and he could've been one of the first people he stopped and Beck would his long grudge. Instead we got another iron man villain.
@@NCMonefaith It really doesn't matter that much, Tony is dead and he only became a villain after his death. So what is Comic book's core concept off Mysterio?
Disgruntled employe who feels unnapreciated and goes rogue to get respect.
It matters not that Tony Stark was a source off the problem because...it's all on Beck's how he behaved and how he lied. He could had reacted the same if it was Hank Pym, Osborn or anyone, at the very core Beck is someone who feels deserves respect but unlike the comic, that one trait is taken to the biggest extreme and shows him at his worst. HE even directs his operations lik ap roducer so the change off origin did not detract much over how he was a near perfect representation off him
All he was missing was the mist for his illusions but i feel he tought off projectors being safer. THey dont cause that many issues.

It's interesting how in a world filled with superhumans, cyborgs, and sorcerers, Mysterio considers Nick Fury, an ordinary human who runs the biggest intelligence network on the planet, as the most dangerous person alive. Really puts into perspective how scary the guy is.
I mean it makes sense. You have to refill the smoke and clean the mirrors eventually, and when you do you'll be vulnerable
And that is when Fury strikes, because he's figured you out two months ago and is just waiting for a good opening.

I think it speaks more to how Mysterio is just a normal guy at the end of the day, you can kind of forget that fact with how the technology makes him seem godlike. And within his world, Nick Fury is a really powerful figure, as the guy who among many things formed the Avengers.

AGREED
This is tied for my favorite scene in the movie. It's just really cool to see that his villain plan is to just make a movie for everyone to marvel at. It takes the idea of superhero spectacle that the public has been eating up for the past couple decades and gives it a dark twist by applying it to a world with actual superheroes. It shows that idolizing heroes often comes down to how flashy and cool they are and not necessarily who they are. This is also a really nice contrast to Peter, who shows time and time again (especially in Homecoming) that being a hero is about helping people, and not about fighting giant space monsters or an evil army of robots. Overall, it's just a really cool and unique combination of reality and fiction that's both relevant to the world it takes place in and the audience watching from behind the screen.
@Paz thanks
It's true. There are probably really good doctors who have saved more people than TDK version of Batman. Though he did save all of Gotham. Though Norman Borlaugs Greenpeace saved 1 BILLION lives from starvation. There's a real hero that gets no recognition or glory even from history teacher. But yeah, growing crops just isn't flashy. No one is even getting punched, wtf?
Plus the statement that people will believe everything they see and read, which is sadly true, at least for the most part.
It also adds to a common theme in spider man movies where people just want a show like seeing the hero fall that’s a fun one

I liked how Mysterio at least originally didn’t want to kill Peter.
Mysterio is pretty much the opposite of Homecoming's Vulture in pretty much every way.

I like Mysterio's relationship with Peter and even his crew. He didn't want to kill Peter until he found out his secret, which is exactly how Thanos felt when he had to sacrifice Gamora for the Soul Stone. As for his crew, since they're all as sadistic and petty as he is he showed them his appreciation during his big speech at the bar and he only threatened them because of a serious issue like the lost projector and even then he never bothered with it showing he has fairness to those he likes

This movie was just a teenager getting doxxed by a middle aged man who wears a fish bowl on his head using CGI effects and drones. I love it.
Since this video has gained a bit of traction thanks to NWH, can I just say how awesome the Air Elemental's design is? A living, humanoid cyclone that hangs upside down from a swirling cloud and attacks by morphing its hand into a mini tornado has gotta be one of the most ingenious takes on the cloud/sky monster trope I've ever seen in any media ever.
Also yeah, Mysterio is still a colossal prick, lol!
Nah he is just the copy of the elementors of Max Steel
People are saying that Mysterio didn't cause the events of NWH. And they are right. But NWH wouldn't have happened without Mysterio's back up plan. Peter is the one that botched the spell. But Mysterio Is the one that led Peter to those situations. Absolute mad man.
