    I love the people of Moses Lake. I served there in the summer of 2004. It was an honor.

    Thank you so much for putting this on the Internet where I could watch. I don’t live in Moses Lake now. It is still my home .

      That is unfortunate. The Church's press release says "Because of local government’s social distancing guidelines, attendance at the groundbreaking ceremony was limited." Although it seems to me the groundbreaking ceremonies are usually fairly small I'm sure under normal circumstances the local members would be welcome.
      Also sure that anyone who would like will be able to attend the open house and that local members will be invited to the dedication.
      And if course all members will be welcome to attend the Temple once it is open! I'm really looking forward to the temple in my area reopening. I'm sure having a temple close will be a great blessing to the people in Washington and Canada!

    This was wonderful. One Error in the history. Robert Atwood Hague was President of the Yakima North Stake and the stake was created circa 1980-81. I know because i was ordained a 70 by him on December 5, 1981 and on my certificate it says Yakima North Stake and he was the President. I believe the name was changed to Selah in 1997 but the stake was in existence long before it was mentioned in the history on this account. Other than that, this was very wonderful account.

    • @joyecannell6858
      @joyecannell6858 Před 3 lety

      The cross represents the death of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Temples do not have crosses because they are houses of the Lord. Each wonderful temple has that written upon each building. Because of the Resurrection of Christ he lives and directs his church.

      When you say stuff like that, say it out of love and prayer. Use the Bible. If you want to really help people, sarcasm isn't the answer. If a kid doesn't know the stovetop is hot and burns himself, you don't mock the kid for not knowing any better. "Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves." Phil. 2;3

    Having a Mormon temple in Moses Lake is so special. Maybe the Mormon church could have a special Mormon temple ceremony for the temple dedication, one where they revert back to the explicit mention of the death penalties if a Mormon fails to live full up to their temple covenants like the pre 1990 Mormon temple ceremony, before that stuff was taken out.
