What we'd probably do is become curious or run away, after becoming aware of the alien the government would respond to it.
What that response entails changes from country to country but it's a rare government that would go 'kill them all' Sith-style. Unless the alien was killing and eating people, of course, but at that point it's not a question of something just being new.
We only kill things that we care enough to kill. As an example, there was a species of wolves that preyed on livestock in medieval Europe, there were then bounties put up to entice people to hunt them, this was not out of fear, or a lack of understanding that the wolf needed to do so to survive, but out of a desire to not have to guard livestock against wolves, we aren't stupid and if you explained to a medieval person why the wolf was hunting their livestock they would just shrug and go 'I know and I don't care', because we tend to get fairly practical when our own survival and prosperity of our family is at stake.
So no, we aren't wild animals that kill everything we see.

I actually kinda feel happy for Chara on the "Erase" ending. They finally got what they wanted.
Atleast they was right when they said they waned a happy ending.
after the screen fades to black and charas eyes keep flashing, you wait a while and they let you erase or do not. if you erase im pretty sure your game goes back to normal. if you pick do not then chara jumpscares you like a few minutes of dialogue later.

You know I actually really liked the part where she says "you made your choice long ago" because that's an actual piece of dialogue from normal game if you decide to constantly do genocide routes. And then select "do not" erase
Don't really wanna be "that guy" but Chara actually goes by they/them in the original Undertale, and you called them a she in your comment. Not the end of the world or anything, just wanted to point that out so you don't refer to them incorrectly going forward. It's honestly quite an easy mistake so I don't blame ya

Most people would get a lot more territorial on such a subject, when really we can view both of them however we want personally in our own head canons, and also recognize their actual terms as well.

@@bullet6140 It is personal preference, but in the actual game, Asriel calls Chara by they/them, as well as others who bring them up as well. You can imagine Chara however you want them to be in your headcanon, but when discussing them publicly, whether it be theories, retrospectives, or alike, it's best to specify them with gender neutral terms, as that is how they're referred to ingame, and not cause arguments as other people's headcanons may butt heads greatly with yours.
But like you said, it really doesn't matter how you see Chara. It's just a matter of speaking about them in an open environment is when it's best to define them as gender neutral in my opinion, as it's the least argumentative and as close to canon as you can get about that.

@@GianniLantigua I mean the game doesn't spell it out to you but anyone who played genocide should now that Chara gains more control over the course of the route since they become "that feeling" we get when we level up. You can't say the Player did it otherwise why would the kills be automatic. The game is very obviously trying to show you that Chara is the one who killed the final few enemies. Show don't tell
And even if Chara didn't kill them (which they did) Alphys, Monster Kid, the Amalgamates, Napstablook, the evacuated monsters and all of humanity are still alive and the end of genocide. So Chara still killed thousands of monsters and billions of humans.
And even if after all of that you wanna somehow claim that Chara never murdered everyone even they themselves admit that they helped kill the monsters "we eradicated the enemy and became strong".
Chara's morality is made ambiguous on purpose and it clearly is to some extent supposed to be up to interpretation otherwise Toby would've given us more information about Chara to work with, but it's pretty undeniable that aren't this innocent little kid that did nothing wrong. Even Asriel (the person the idolised Chara to the point of obsession) admits that "Chara wasn't the greatest person".
A neat idea would be that Chara could heal at times, and by doing so would take the item that Chara used from your inventory

It's sad really, I kinda see chara in myself (Not in the murder aspect but allow me to explain).
I've lived a lie most my life. I am.. Transgender. This is kinda like chara and frisk.
Frisk was who I was back in the day. Disconnected, unfeeling, and very unexpressive...
Chara was really who I was. The voice in the mind/text on screen. The one watching the other pilot around near mindlessly with very little understanding of why.
Then... I saw it. I saw why I was living in such a disconnected manner. I grew up and got access to the internet and... Learned the kind of world I was in. I had an inkling as a child but when I grew into a teen it was confirmed and now... Now I'm just sick of the hatred the world has for me and my brothers and sisters.
Now, I see the world from chara's perspective...
"This world, and all it holds, will treat us for what they see. Not for who we are not what we do, but because all they see is something they don't understand... To them, we are the unwashed gypsies, the satanistic worshippers, and worse still... That's all they'll *want* to see. Simple monsters.
And yet... The true "monster" is them. The ones that cast us aside and scorn us for not being them... Fitting, isn't it? That the term "monster" holds a greater amount of creatures than "human"..."

Technically we are the o es that made chara op because in understand genocide ending she said that our soul wake her up so technically we really are the boss of the world in that game and Chara is just our assistance.
I found it surprising for the last line of Chara in the genocide route is the one in the end of genocide if you say no. "Since you were the one in control?"

And i can't even beat Asgore in a neutral run... You are really skilled! I'll sub. Got any tips on how to beat Asgore?
If you meant "can't" well yes here is some tips:
-Wear the final weapons and a lot of food you can use all of them since its the final fight before flowey and asriel, non of these 2 bosses need those (you can make items appear in asriel battle anyway) so just use them
-As soon as you are in-battle try to talk with asgore for 3 or 4 turns until you see that his atk and def are down, then eat pie and pretty much that makes the battle so much easier (But judging for your suggestion it wouldn't surprise me that you already used the pie XD)
-The rest is just fighting until he dies, there is no way to spare him in the common ways
Ok so that's pretty much it for making the battle easier but if you rather need attack advices, first I already have a video no hitting the giant goat dad so maybe you can watch that to have a little reference of how to dodge them? idk, if after this you still need help you can contact me on discord anyway I would be glad to help ^w^

Just use the sword sandwiches buy all of them, like fill your inventory with sword sandwiches. And in the fight just eat as many as them to gain more attack.
