My favorite is a game called Undertale 2. The best part of it being how unique it is.
*The game is near impossible to predict, I mean this. You will be teleported to a 2 minute cutscene with absolutely no transition while seemingly walking to the next room. It's absolutely hilarious, keeps you intrigued. The game randomly turning off and on its pacing is absolutely great.
*It has a fishing minigame that's actually fun and unlike any fishing mechanic I've ever seen
*The rpg mechanics are unique and actually pretty fun
*The story is absolutely insane and seems to make no sense, but it actually makes sense in the end. (Like ribbit my favorite deltarune mod)
There's more but I want people to actually play it since its not too well known in this community.

Last genocide imo is the best version of how batshit crazy sans fight fangames can get. It may have a SHIT load of fanon and have Gaster pretty much become god, but I think the animation, music, and general adherance to Dusttale make it a great fangame.

for the dustbelief retake, it's actually exactly the same thing as the official AU but made as a fan game (yes the original is a undertale comic and they still havent finished the comic)
I mean, there wasn't really a way to hide Underswap's plot tbh, it's literally just undertale but characters swap places. Tho I am curious exactly how chara's first memory alone show their whole backstory. I mean... I guess it's easy to discern that Chara had really bad experiences with humanity, and that they went underground to escape from it, but that also happened in Undertale, so nothing really new. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like Chara's backstory is going to be a lot more than just that though.
Uhhhh... isnt temmie supposed to be monster kid? I mean that was exactly what it was in the original underswap, so where exactly did everyone get the idea that flowey is monster kid?
Because in the canon of Underswap flowey and Temmie change places.
Monster kid changes his place with Asriel.
In fact, I have never ever seen a version where Temmie takes the place of Monster Kid

i love how in ts underswap everybodys roles changes except for sans and papyrus its literally the same except sans is a little bit less lazy
I was ready to commit hate crimes if Distrust 2 wasn't in the video, but I am satisfied. Jokes aside though, it's my favourite fangame and the hardest boss fight I've beaten ever. I remember grinding it for 3 months to beat it on the 4 dmg difficulty, but I had so much fun I'd definitely say it was worth it.
When I beat it I took 4 photos of me giving the middle finger to Sans,it was so hard
I’d also include No More Deals and Underfell: One Hell of a Show, those are incredible fangames
If mods were included, then Bedlump would obviously be the best!

I feel like uty is better than ts underswap.
Cus its actually finished + uses the cannon undertalr story. And has banger osts. Like listen to something like enemy retreating and try to come up with a reason for it being bad
Funny thing is,my last video was literally about enemy retreating.
I think its good but also very very out of place,Yellow's best route is genocide by far but it does the concept of genocide wrong imo,makes it feel almost..rewarding in a way while it should be the opposite.

I don't think a project using undertale's story should be indicative of it's quality or put it above fanworks that are AUs in comparison.
They should all be judged on their own merits, and imo even though Undertale Yellow is completed while TS!Underswap is only about 35% completed in total, I'd say TS!Underswap has a more engaging story set up, and also more engaging gameplay than Yellow.
