Watch as team celebrate 'ghost goal' only for opposition to score at other end

- IT is one of the worst feelings in the world as a footballer.
You think you have scored the equaliser against one of the giants in your country - only for them to run up the other end and all-but guarantee defeat.
Slaven Belupo were in need of sympathy on Saturday as Croatian First Football League's bottom side began to celebrate levelling the game up with 15 minutes to go.
But in a bad case of luck, the ball had not actually gone in, and Hajduk Split players sprinted up the other end to score.
The hosts' goalkeeper rolled the ball out, hoping for a quick break from his teammates - only to find Slaven's Nemanja Glavcic waiting to attempt an audacious chip.
In footage on Twitter, the Hajduk keeper scrambled back crashing into the goal netting, and the visitors thought the ball had too as they celebrated what would have been an equaliser.
But it instead struck the post, with the Split hosts going on the charge.
Realising their opponents were too busy congratulating each other, with the Slovan goalkeeper even rushing to the manager's dugout, Hajduk were left with the goal wide open and Josip Juranovic was not going to miss.
It added to Jairo de Macdeo da Silva's opener which sends Split to the top of the table with a two-point lead over defending champions Dinamo Zagreb.
Meanwhile, it was a ninth defeat this season for Slaven as they remain rock bottom.

If you don't know, the ball hit the post, and if you're wondering why the net moved, it's because of the goalkeeper
Confusion of the highest orda
bokoya
It hit the post
Yes and the goal keep hit the net for they thought the ball had hit the net
Having the goalkeeper run in the other direction would have been offside...
No it would not. You still got the defender there, which makes the striker on-side.

The defender would be considered a goal keeper if the GK did really run the other way
In that case it would be an offside

This man is a genius
Croatia has only 1 camera?
The light green keeper handled the ball well outside the area at 14 secs. The Lino is supposed to check the keeper is not holding the ball when the last part of the ball crosses the penalty area line.
who are those commentators they dont know players names
The goalkeeper hit the ball and it hit the ground, then it hit the post and then hit the ground. Every time inside the play zone.

Ghost goal is either a goal scored and not given or a non goal given. On this case the goal was not given hence the ghost goal. Oh for var back on the day.
It wasn’t goal
