I am so excited for this to come back. My best friend my entire life passed away right before this launched and we were hardcore smash bros growing up. So I bought the founders edition (feeling some sort of ghostly pull guided by Kyler) and I was over the moon with the gameplay and feeling this game gave me. I can only imagine if he was still here… I would’ve love to show him I still think about him. It’s like I’m the one guy I could share my excitement over these games with is gone. So instead I share you my story 😢

I think one thing that some people are not taking into consideration about Banana Guard is that while he has lots of strong melee attacks, I can imagine projectile focused characters are gonna be his main weakness, which is something we didn’t see a lot of in the 3 day early access.

As someone who never got in to play the game, it's way more readable now as a spectator. I can actually follow most of what's happening in a match without feeling like my grandparents. Looking forward to checking it out today.

I feel like the slowness should be amped up a little, it’s like watching it in slow motion almost
If it at least feels responsive / snappy then I think it'll be fine. Seems like they wanted to make it spectator-friendly, and might just take a little getting used to

Please just give it a try before crying on forums day 1. The super fast pace during the beta was the only complaint I had honestly. I willing to bet game'll feel better than it looks at first glance. And like others said, it's easier to follow for spectators which might help the competitive scene
Literally cause the beta was already slow. Especially since we don’t have the ability to dodge as much for mobility.It’s legit slower than brawl

From looking at gameplay I’m honestly nervous for this launch character are dying to quick in my opinion and it just looks very slow I liked the fast pace of what it was. guess will have to wait and see, still hype for this game! Tho 🎉

Banana.. the devs made him this way on purpose so he can dominate the meta
@@remydook8968morty was nerfed like crazy. His grenades bounce and his down special doesn’t have a grenade hitbox. Its hard to get his grenades to move. I also think if you split the nades they take a while to detonate.

Bro banana needs a nerf and jason needs a buff I haven’t seen to many jokers atm. Banana would have to be the top of the top character in S tier.
Only movement perks left is 5% base movement. The game does feel really slow in my opinion as a Batman. To be fair Batman was the only character I liked in the beta.

Game won’t last nearly as long as it did last time. Numbers won’t be anywhere close. But it will have the initial hype numbers. I’m more so curious if the game actually runs better. If it does, I will be happy enough with that.

It’s probably my fault people started to recognise Tom’s potential.
My problem is it is very obvious that they slowed it down TOO much and it zooms in too much
i can understand the zoom issue, i think the game will speed up once the sweats get on. same thing happened with beta

The slow down makes it easy to watch and easy for casuals to learn

The zoom needs to be more generous and not too strict on the asses.
If it's an accessibility thing, make it an option. It just doesn't feel right if it zooms in that much
Any mist confirms are going to look sick. It's like sheik's teleport but with a cooler animation imo
They say the online is amazing but it looks exactly the same. You can see moves just phasing through people and whiffing, or the complete opposite where the move shouldn't have hit shit and it did. Looks like the same ass one sided rollback, not very convinced.
I am not that big of a fan of the movement, I feel like they should have kept the beta walking speed and jumping speed, how it was originally while still keeping the burnout, dodging, etc. And making the dodge meter much bigger. AND ALSOOO WHYY IS TOMS TENIS BALL SOOO SLOWWW
