This video is from quite a few years ago now, they have matured into one of the great rock bands of our time, Lzzy Hale is the G.O.A.T. of female rock vocalists.

Welcome to the amazing Lzzy Hale and her great band. I had all but given up on hearing great rock again after the start of this century until Halestorm made its debut in 2009. Instantly fell in love and they do a modern hard rock/metal hybrid that has old school vibes with great musicianship from all 4 players. Her brother, Arejay Hale is the drummer and already one of the best drummers I have ever seen. I saw them 3 times before the pandemic and it takes a lot to motivate me to go to a show at 67 (after seeing 100s of shows in my lifetime). Amazing live band, I suggest watching their set from PinkPop 2016, it is a one hour look at them at their Zenith and will amaze you.
They always kill it, she has the best female rock voice for this century and they have a varied catalog, including incredible hard rock, metal tinged tunes and Lzzy's trademark ballads, she has sung with many others artists, search for both Halestorm and her, it is a deep rabbit hole already with 5 albums of their own, brilliant material and 3 amazing EPs of cover songs of the classic rock era, great covers of Beatles, Metallica and Pat Benatar amongst others. Try the videos for I Miss the Misery, Rock Show and Mayhem.
You have stumbled on one of the saviors of great rock going into the future, along with other bands deserving f your attention like Lilliac, Plush, Dorothy, Simply Reckless and Samantha Fish. For me these lady led bands give me hope for my retiring years that someone still plays music I really love. Enjoy! 🎵
I've seen Halestorm twice, and I firmly believe that by the time Lzzy retires, she'll be on the same pedestal as Lita Ford.

I keep coming back an watching this lzzy is one of the great rock voices of are time. Lzzy an Ayr Jay started Halestorm when she was 13 yrs old an Ary Jay was 10yrs old Lzzy was born in 1983. They are still doing 250 shows a year. They have a great history you should check them out.
By the way, the drummer is Lzzy Hale's brother!

You should check out "I Like it Heavy" and a song that Lzzy did with the Mongolian group the HU Band called "Song of Women".
