  • Hey All! Wow this one is a powerhouse. This is the hardest rocking Halestorm I have heard to-date. I can see why this one is the show opener for their 2021 tour. Loved it!

That scream was all real, she does it in the live shows. Halestorm is my absolute favourite band of all time and I’m loving all your reactions. Check out their latest song, Back from the Dead. Have fun at the concert!

The scream is real! This may or may not be the opener. They've been switching things up. 😀
You're making me so excited for more shows. Lol 🤘🏼

Making me sad I don’t have more shows! Need to find a way! Yes, scream was real and she does it live.

I saw them with Plush and Evanescence back on Nov 15. SHOW. WAS. AWESOME! They opened with 'Back From the Dead.' Arejay had about an 8-minute solo in the middle of the set and brought out some HUGE sticks (5-foot?) to play with. There's a video from 2014 or so where Lzzy describes Arejay as the lovechild between Animal (Muppets) and David Lee Roth.

all of these Halestorm songs are rockin...just found it funny though, given the title of the song, on your first pause in the video, the drummer looks like Sloth from The Goonies, also I think the scream was genuine, what pipes 🗣

I can’t believe Rebel don’t get much recognition. Definitely a southern /blues/ country feel with amazing vocals.

@@user-up7vk5ej3q You're not lying! That's my motivational song of the morning. If it isn't the first song I hear every day, my day feels incomplete. Almost literally. And that classic rock country rock vibe thing in that song is my favorite! She really uses everything she's got when singing this one too. Her taking chances like that and making those imperfect smooth notes is what makes this song and Lzzy Hale so real. Rebel is a legend to me

I think that scream was scream to guitar transition

  • @IBGECKO

There was definitely a dissolve in that scream at the end of it for a smooth transition, but it was all Lzzy. For another change of pace to something slower, try Dear Daughter. It's a beautiful song about female empowerment that is on the same level as P!nk's Fuckin' Perfect. Lzzy has made it into my triumvirate of female rock vocalists: Lzzy, Amy, and P!nk. Sheryl Crow gets an honorable mention, as in my opinion she is the best all around singer/songwriter/musician, but the big three are the best vocalists, IMHO.

This song is so energetic, great for opening the show. Hope you enjoy seeing them live. Arejay is a show off (in a good way) as Will from Evanescence, pure entertainment
