i know youre kidding and everything but i just wanted to say theres a surprising amount of people who get mad at people who 112% hollow knight and honestly its disappointing that they dont get that its not meant to be 112 percented if it makes you feel more shitty than its worth.

Bit of an explanation for why "The Knight" is considered a pure vessel: having left the kingdom and lost it's memory, The Knight no longer possesses any form of higher thought granted to it by Hallownest like other residents of the Kingdom. Therefore, as it makes its way back to the kingdom, it is doing so based on pure instinct alone, without the burden of mind.
This is what makes it a Pure Vessel: as every action The Knight performs is done so with nothing but base survival instincts, which are heightened to a ridiculous degree due to its Pale Being Heritage and the fact that it's body is made of Void. However, after it obtains the void heart, it regains this memory and instead becomes something more, something different, the Lord of Shades, and unifier of the Void, which, based on the Radience's dreamnail dialogue, is it's ancient enemy, but now united and focused into a singular being, unified by it's own will.
However, this is what makes Sealed Siblings the worst possible ending in the game, as A: Hornet states that overexposure to the black egg's atmosphere would probably kill her, and B: The Knight wouldn't be able to contain the Radience due to now possessing a will and a mind.

Infinite Soul Totems = Unlimited Soul = Unlimited Healing at every checkpoint
And manually healing is much faster than Hiveblood.

If you do decide to speedrun the game, I recommend no major glitches for most speedrun videos, and for speedrunning in general, but for a video titled "Hollow Knight Speedruns in 2021 are insane" a glitch run would probably be more interesting. But that's just my opinion, feel free to do whatever you prefer!

2:36:04 Carpal Tunnel happens at any age... It's not some old person thing. It's actually somewhat more common now since it's quite simple to get from poor hand position or just a long time at the keyboard/controller.
You should probably look into it more yourself as your profession is one of the more common ones to get it.

The vessels being basically zombie children not only explains why our knight is so short, but also why the White Lady regrets her involvement so much. And why the Hollow Knights could grow larger.

me too! i was playing the game with a friend and when we reached the Lady, both of us had a moment where we just... let her conversation stall, because the character right in front of her is one of her babies. It never got to be a full individual, but it was her baby, just like all of our siblings across the Abyss floor and our sibling in the Black Egg. This game makes me so emotional about a zombie baby bug, i love it so much 💜

something i think is interesting to note about the hollow knight lore is that all names of places and enemies are based on what the knight knows, take for example the soul master his dream variant is called soul tirant because the knight found out that the soul master killed hundreds of bugs just for experiments. another example is broken vessel, the knight in its original battle sees it as just a broken vesel but at the end of the fight the vessel reaches out for its sibling and thus the knight knew who it really was explaining the dream variant name lost kin. im mentioning this because the name city of tears is most likely indeed not the city’s original name but got that name from the fact that the knight saw its endless rain out there which reminded it of tears thus giving the city of tears as name.

Well, the maggots in their entirety are cowards, but this maggot tried to protect the others, so I'm not sure if it was entirely cowardly. I do agree stealing a knight's armour is not right though.

Getting the 10 zote kills for the golden zote statue was probably the hardest thing in the game for me xD The boss fight itself wasn't actually too hard but there are a few un-telegraphed movements he can do whilst you are attacking (Just casually walks towards you for example, no animation just starts walking like he is repositioning) that ruined my runs so many times.
The worst attacks are
1. His sword slam attack-but repositions himself
2. For some reason, when you try to attack the minions as he is spitting them, you parry them? And get hit
3. *w a l k*

If it hasn't been suggested already one challenge I've been doing in to go into the city of tears as late as possible in the game and only once while also getting as high a completion percent as possible. it's definitely fun seeing how interconnected the world is even without the midgame hub - kingdom's edge is horrible with no nail upgrades though, lol

You get the ending where you fight the radience by finding both pale beings, (white Lady + pale King) and then going back to the birthplace, there you Will United the void and it Will be your ally, the rest, is up to you...
Btw white Lady is in Queens gardens and pale King is in white palace, and the birthplace is where your egg is.
