    This is a brief but well-presented video on how to change the valve cartridge. The replacement part I got had the tool and also information on how to change it. Though it was detailed with lots of pictures, I was a little confused. Then watching your video clarified well and I was able to change the valve cartridge without any issue (tool not used) and the leakage stopped. Since the part is not from MOEN, I am skeptical how long it will last. There is a spare O ring with parts, that may help in case it starts dripping again. Thanks for your video.

    My new cartridge is in. But not all the way flush, it's like an 8th out. It's the same model, it's greased up. How do I push it in without damaging the pipe and or cartridge?. Thank you. Any tips?. The gap us as big as the lock clip, I can insert the clip

      Hello. Use the same cartridge puller. Retract the big nut and Push it with the two side part. did you flush it and cleaned. Sometimes the rubber side of the cartridge walls fall inside and blocks the cartridge. Push it hard if doesn't work remove it again and make sure nothing is on the way. Let me know how it goes.

    2 Important step*** he miss , after add "silicon GREASE to 2x Black-rubber & O-ring , then IINSERT "STRAIGHT in" push HARD "But no BEND" ,,,, insert "top U-CLIP" ==> Turn water ON , Turn Knob by use Plier """" *** Made sure water in not LEAKING *** """"" , if it LEAKing ==> that mean you INSERT " not-STRAIGHT" , REMOVE the Valse --> then USE "Steel Wools" sand inside where the "O-RING " will stay " it about 1-inches " ,, SAND surround for 10 minutes , Use wet-towel to Clean , & use AIR-spray can to BLOW any debris to inside & clean by wet-towel ==> do it for 5 time ,, now SURFACE is SMOOTH , will not Leak ,, INSERT Valse again ==> will work 100%

    For those who might need it: If yours isn't fitting 3/32 use 7/64. That's what mine was.

    Ok I followed ur instructions but it will not ease out the innermost grove is just sliding over top of plastic fitting it’s supposed to grab

      @alexthehandyman3494  Před 3 lety +1

      Hey Manny if you removed the retainer clip and loosed it up with the plastic device it came with, Pull hard and bring it out. If the cartridge is old you might have to fight it out. If you cannot retrieve it like that, then we can use a cartridge puller. Let me know how it goes.

      I applied a washer/screw to the center piece and used a 2x4 and crowbar to pull the cartridge out.
