Tetris for the Gameboy was released in 1989 for Japan and America, it was released in 1990 for Europeans.
This completes Tetris A (Normal Tetris)
With a max score of 999999 with 500 lines completed.
Then we continue on to Tetris B (Challenge Mode)
Each height completed on level 9
I decided to play each theme individually to give off the nolstalgia.
After The little break I redo Tetris B... on heart mode (Challenge Mode +)
The reason I didn't do Tetris A on heart mode, is because it would just make the whole thing longer and well repeating what I already did.
I completed Tetris A on 500 instead of max as it would take much longer and it is also pointless as max score is completed.
Tetris B has a reference that was choosen from the Longplays IRC "Neptune does what you all don't" it comes from the game Hyperdimension Neptunia... you can blame Nepnao if you hate it. XD
The second reference during Tetris B heart mode also comes from the Longplays IRC "BlueMaxima throws Nepnao off a bridge" so thank BlueMaxima for getting rid of Nepnao.

No matter how old you are, you have to agree that Tetris is one of the most fun games of all time
I mean yes its fun but i like shooters more but hell this is a verry good game and you are talking to a boy thats 13 years old
Your build strategy was kind of risky but I suppose it paid off. You are definitely what I would describe as a "high roller" of Tetris play and your ability to correct mistakes and even turn them around into line setups is crazy.
strategy lol some of the dumbest moves I've seen in Tetris and amazing luck to been bailed out as many times, even in the first 5 min

I think you can play Tetris on the pocket go but I think my brother removed it for some reason I don’t know why.

Yes... This is especially the case with Music Type-C, which sounds a lot better than the *_very_* slow one (Music Type-C) in the NES version of Tetris!

this tetris music reminds me of playing with all my new video games during christmas break from school...cold outside and just play games all day long...i had a game boy and played the heck out of this game and super mario land

I had this on Game Boy back in 98. Even my dad liked to play it. I remember my Grandpa was able to get it on this special console that he attached to the TV, with a keyboard and joystick. It had the moon and the Russian castles in the background. I think it was the TRS-80 CoCo version.

Heart Mode adds 10 to whatever the level is, I believe.

Best game ever. Have never really been into computer games but Sonic and Tetris were the best.
I remember playing Tetris soooo much, I couldn't put it down. Went through so many batteries.
When I started it was on level 0 and struggled to get to level 2, by the end i used to start on level 9 and end up on level 23, pretty much on auto pilot when they're falling down that fast. I so wish they would bring back the original console, I bought second hand ones since but they've always had a sticky button or some other fault that runs the game. Did I mention best game ever 💕
