Great video! I notice in the video you compress on the backside and extend on the frontside when going rail-to-rail in the pumping motion. When I tried on my surfskate the motions work for me compressing on the frontside as well, so I am curious about if one way is better than the other?

Thanks for the video! I like to think that I excel in “pop up and go speed” and generating speed down the line. However the biggest problem I have is coming out of turns with speed. I feel a lot of the time once I hit a turn I lose most of my speed. Now I am naturally getting better at this but when I’m surfing a fast beach break (what I usually surf) if I lose speed once, the wave passes me. I was wondering if you have a video planned for this or if you already have one on your patreon.

    Hey Surf'n'Show !
This video is sooooo good, and the speed and flow you got is amazing. Could watch you cruise like this for hours, defitly a great inspiration. For this kind of surfing : speed, flow and cruise, what would be your top pick in 2-4 feet waves in 2021 ? (looks like in this video you surf pyzalien2 and rocket wide).

Cheers for the kind words. The RW is smooth rail to rail. I also like the Dominator 2, Akila Aipa Modern Fish, and the Medina model for speed, power, and flow.

Hey Noel, great review as always! I just wanted to ask you a quick question. I’m a intermediate 5’6” and 135lbs, I’m looking to make either the fever or the driver 2.0 as a board for 3-8 beach break hollow barrels, and also for point breaks like rincon. Thanks!!!

    Hi Noel, great stuff again.
Something I have noticed in my own surfing is that generating speed on the wave is not such an issue, but generating speed from my pop-up is the problem. I surf fast beachbreaks with a lot of power and I sometimes struggle to pop-up and get up on the waveface immediately with speed. Do you have some tips or footage that might help me out?

Noel, I hope you do something on doing a bottom turn to top turn then coming back and banking off the white wash!! I like how you do that!! Please explain because I’ve been struggling with that for a long time. I can get the speed down the line no problem but when it comes to hitting the lip then coming back and banking off the whitewash that would be a great tutorial. Thanks again Noel!! You shred brother!!
