@@jamiegardella367 - Most intelligent thing you probably ever said.
Very informative and to the point review. You talk fast, but it's just the right amount of fast, rapidly dishing out info while not wasting people's time. Man if I was from over there I'd come and buy it at your store. Quality content. Bravo.
Thank you very much Xanos, I'm glad you found it informative. All the best
I have had mine for less than 2 weeks & it is amazing. Nothing is messed up & blurry I have very clear pictures of the Sun, Moon, Stars & Plasma like bubble wrap. Sun simulator, cloud makers, triangle ships that hide in the chem trails.
I'd love to see those pics!
Now I can finish my photoshoot job without going to the client location.
🤣🤣🤣
Lol bro😂
Every review of this thing is done in bright sunny daylight. None of these reviews really challenge the capabilities of this camera.
Plus I've never seen a review of a bird flying by. Since this camera cannot focus that fast.
This camera can take saturnus picture
Its only for zoom gimmicks, its not a good camera..
The camera is horrible in low light
But the zoom range is so big that you can zoom until you reach sunlight again :P
Thank you
A great review. Tells me everything I need to know.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed
If you zoom in on someone else zooming in on you, you must fight to the death
😂😂😂😂😂😂
LOL
lol!
I don´t have to. Just put your hand slightly above the shutter to let people who do not want to be videotaped know you are ok with it.
Like two kitty cats in a staring match! LOL
I told my wife I'm justifying the cost by saving on movie rentals after watching the in flight movies from the airplanes passing over us.
you must have amazing hearing.
Thanks for a great presentation !
Such a well presented review. Thanks.
Thanks Keith, I'm glad you enjoyed
is there time limit while recording? Ive heard ti is 30 minutes (then it stops itself) due to some regulations in Europe. Are they all like that or we can find without this time frame.
Excellent review, which really shows the functions and good examples of the zoom.
Would it zoom in and take good photos of passenger planes in flight high up.
Great video & review. Thanks. Going to purchase this
Thanks Sean, I'm glad the video was helpful
Store in my place is 1km.
So I used this camera, is the store are opened? By zooming...
Hi, is there any way that I want to add zoom size while taking the picture? For instance, if I am using 30mm zoom size, I want it to be on my picture.
Does the screen still work when recording to an external recorder?
Excellent review 👏🏻
Great review/summary/PSA
Very good review. Thank you.
What is the delay like between shots? I'm keen to find a camera for sports, but I would need to be able to take multiple shots per second
@digiDirect you didnt mention how much motor/gear noise is prevalent when using video?
How much does this intrude on the video? Will an ext.mike eliminate this?
Which nikon p1000 battery charger would you like to take?
Bigfoot will still look blurry 🤣

I´m interested in using my Nikon Coolpix P - 1000, first and foremost for bird and lunar photography. Are there any lenses which can be added to the Coolpix 1000´s lens - apart from the two ones that are currently being sold on amazon.com and amazon.co.uk?
Dose it still have the Sunset/star, star trail time-laps modes as the P900 did?
I realize this might seem foolish but I am a novice - is the zoom optical or digital? Thank you.
I'm so proud. This is Melbourne Australia where I live almost all my life. I recognise every location.
How far away could you read a license plate and what length for facial recognition ? A built in image intensifier is cool.
Great review - I will get one soon I hope! Cheers buddy. I subbed ! \o/
Nice review. Thanks.
Very Good
they add suppressors to cameras now?
What do you mean by "clean output" to HDMI? Does this camera output "flat" or "raw" video profiles? is the output 4:2:2? Internally is it 4:2:0 or 4:2:2? What internal and external codecs?
Is it possible to get it now?
Plz share ur camera detail in this video shot
I've got a Nikon b700 with a 60* zoom and it's more than enough zoom and is great for surf photography and birdwatching
Me too Eamon. Even that 1440mm is a handful at times 🤯 😬 😰 😱 so who needs 3000mm at f8 ???? Nah.
How would it compare to Nikkor 400 mm lens?
Hey you're in my hometown Melbourne Australia. Nice review :)
I love this camera 😎
Excellent video!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed
What is the minimum distance on 2000 mm? I hope it is 5 m or lower. Because the P900 has 5m. 7m on 3000 mm is about the same magnification of 2000 mm @5m.
Very nice video! Thank you.
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed
Thanks for sharing and I have subscribed.
Thank you for the sub! Take care
Greetings, I have a Nikon Coolpix P1000 and it gives me this error when I turn it on. THE CAMERA WILL SHUT OFF TO PREVENT IT FROM OVERHEATING. I would appreciate information on how to solve this problem, since it does not let me do anything. Thank you Jose Antonio
Nothing like photography through a small telescope! Holy smokes, that is impressive! License plates are blurred out or you could read them too, along with the trolly number @ 2:15
does it have a built in timelapse?
QUESTION ; can you have live field while connected on tv in video mode ? ( can you see on real time on tv ( connected by HD cable ) while in video mode ?
yes.
sind die Brennweiten echt oder sind die auf Kleinbildformat umgerechnet ???
Any external audio input?
Can I still use this camera to take pics 3or5 meters away? I mean I have a nice cell phone for that but let's say I want to play and believe that I'm a pro- photographer and family comes over, can I take this and take nice pics at close range?
You answered all my questions ...thanks😂
New reply on "I have a Canon Rebel T7i camera, I can't take nice pictures and the phone looks better so I want to take distant pictures and her lens is the kit, 18 x 55mm. I was researching the value of the 70 x lens 300mm with stabilizer and the price is high, I am told that the Nikon Coolpix P1000 because I am not even an amateur, it is for my hobby to admire that it is worth to stay with Canon or exchange for a Nikon Coolpix P1000, what is your opinion? Is a Nikon P1000 detail professional? Thanks
What is the widest aperture available at full (optical) zoom?
Hi Philip. At full zoom the max aperture is f/8. It is a max aperture of f/2.8 when fully zoomed out
Love this camera
image quality in 3000mm zoom is 4k or not
I hope some U.F.O. people buy this camera so we dont see ambiguous vibrating spots anymore.
No you'll just see blurred ambiguous floating spots? But definitely vibrating with the poor image stabilisation 😂
As you know, UFO photos are ALWAYS blurry to the point of not being able to tell what they are because they are all fake. This camera was designed to never take a clear picture so it fits right in. I've sent two back and will not try a third.
@@bend.8888 um okaay?? Just buy a tripod dude
I will :)
but bluurrrr in max zoom
What's the use of this camera only zoom
Does the zoom not work without a memory card
Buying it this summer
Does it shoot slowmotion ?
Straordinariamente bello!
Nikon Colpix P1000
Thinking.. wow the moon must be closer then we think. Amazing zoom
Bro... Real as fuk it's gotta be.... Like mfs put that topic aside for what? I don't know.... But I seen the moon zoom tests...it's nuts right, "they" say that you are only able to see what your eyes allow you to, there fore cameras produce the true images and often reveal the hidden
Good morning, congratulations for the review. I would like to ask you or the other P1000 owners who write in the comments if with this camera it is possible to take a clear photo of a target, e.g. man or large bird, at 6 km, or even 10. I would be willing to purchase , but for activities over these distances 🙂.
Thank you!
Thank you very much for the very informative video on the P1000 and congratulations - you are the first who has noticed the difference in the diopter of the P900 and the P1000. Also that you wonderfully explain, where is the difference between a full-size 1 inch sensor and the much smaller P1000 sensor - thanks for your reference. Otherwise, your video is very informative and competent explained. Thank you !
Thanks Jochen, glad you enjoyed the video and found it useful!
The sensor is less than 3/16", or about 1/6th the size of a 1" sensor.
How much prices of this camera?
Una consulta,se puede aprender fotografía con esa cámara o tiene q.ser más básica?
What is the difference between p900 digital and p900 point and shoot.
So does it have Stereo Microphones? TNX
what mb is a photo of nickon p1000
Just Wondering Dose This Camera Have Inferred ?
what's the battery life ? Run time.would use this for wildlife need good battery life and very good low light performance. would it be good for me or bad for me ?
Battery life is reported to be poor. You will need loads of extra batteries......but that's OK if it allows you to capture the shot.
Would this be good for star shooting in remote areas where you can really see the sky?
Hi Larry. I wouldn't consider this a great option for that purpose. For star shooting you typically actually want a wide lens, not a super telephoto one, because you want to capture some of the landscape for context as well as a large swath of the sky. Also the sensor on this camera is pretty small, which is not great for capturing low light subjects like stars. You'll probably want a larger sensor camera with a wide angle to capture that better.
Thank you.
How much ? Thankyou
How mach camera
buying this one
nice job man
Wht is mega pixel.the clarity of photo will be same or not when zooom
16.7 MP only
Very nice
Now I can zoom to the mooooooooooooooon, literally :)
U can zoom moon with 52x only
With a capital Z...
So do you prefer the Nike-on or Nick-on pronunciation? I wonder if the same can be done with Can-on or Can-in? : l
Personally I'm originally Canadian and we say Nye-con there. But here in Australia it's pronounced Nick-on, and I've grown to like that more (I also think it's closer to the correct Japanese pronunciation).
I like niekon. I also have always preferred 12hundred vs 1thousandtwohundred
I owned the P900 for years and it was great but I had many instances where I wanted more. I now own the P1000 and unlike so many here, I like mine. The 4k video is great. The zoom is also great but you have to be smart about it. Trying to use it at full zoom when hand held is stupid. You simply have to use a tripod to get good pics at full zoom. Also when I say tripod, the $20 ones from best buy don't count. Get a good sturdy tripod and you will get the maximum out of this camera. Oh and one more thing... the part I am disappointed about is low light. Nikon should have really upped it to a larger sensor to do a better job in low light. As it is, I am forced to bump up the iso in low light and of course it adds grain. The best compromise I have found is 400iso and shutter speed of 250th. Then the pics are still reasonable quality. A good tripod is of course a must when doing that at full zoom. I like my man froto but there are many good tripods out there. Just plan to spend a couple hundred minimum for a good tripod if you are buying the P1000
ufosaboveus zoom is so noisy ruins all videos. That’s why i didn’t buy it.
bought my self a p900 yesterday and i am very happy. i am also "interested" (know alot about it) in ufos, when i see one i will film it lol.
i made already alot photos and ye it a great camera, but you feel that she is a bit older, but thats not a problem for me.
i paid 370€ for it with 5 accus (4 better accus + original one, each costs 20€) and a very good bag for the camera. new price was about 650-700€ in 2016 so i would say 370 is three years later a good price.
as a student that was the maximum i could effort.
have fun with your p1000, really cool camera and even 4k! p900 "only" shoots in 1080p and 50fps which is ok.
Panthera, you will love the P900. I got several good ufos with mine and lots and lots of video footage of the moon that was interesting. Also great camera for wildlife photography. The P1000 does have a lot more zoom and the 4k video which are both nice but it really does require a heavy duty tripod for sharp pictures. I use a man froto on mine and it really tames the vibration. Both P900 and P1000 are great cameras.
Great zoom, with 4k
Great zoom that takes dreadful photos.
Not 4k, it's only a 1MP (720p) due to diffraction
@@bend.8888 not saying that didnt happen to you, but their are plenty of wonderful ball earth debunking videos showing the footage of this camera.. and they look spot on, maybe it's because they're videos? Anyway.. good enough flat earth camera.
Great zoom 4k
I never noticed this was an Australian company until the end of the video... my mind is blown.
If it is Australian then why the video isn't upside down?
Can anyone make out that the lens hood "make & model" info in the video? I want to get one for my P900 - even though from what I understand, it's not recommended to add anything.
The P900 takes amazing wildlife photos, moon shots, aircraft passing overhead...and interesting "UFO" shots that I suspect might be satellites??
I have had mine since 2015, and had to ship it to Nikon a couple of years ago for repair to lens. Not cheap, but alot less than upgrading. There have been plenty of times when I'd like to have more zoom, (grizzlies in Glacier NP last month!) but its usually when I have no tripod. When the lens is fully extended hand-held this one is heavy. The camera shake is hard to avoid - ESPECIALLY if it is windy...or you're real nervous...
When I have seen them on websites in recent months, the P900's are more expensive now than when I bought mine in '15. I think mine has been worth every penny.
Can’t wait for new product Nikon P1000 4000mm 😄
The P1000, 3,000mm lens has been out for some time. No 4,000 on the market anywhere
Amazing
So if he could only zoom that far are the videos zooming in on the moon fake?
The guys hair is absolute unit
This thing 💥💥💥💥
I can't wait till next bird season to buy one.
Ah yes...'bird' season 😎👍
Can you verify is it 3000 mm like on the Camera 24 / 3000 mm or 30,000 mm like you say? i'm not a troll just asking a simple question in case i have got it wrong.
Hi Fred. It is 3000mm. I do say 3000mm, not 30 000, but I do also talk quite fast ;)
Hope to find the curvature with this.
maybe you can spot the dome over us
Just think, now we can watch Volcanoes erupting from another country and stay out of harm's way. 😱
Matthew Senavitis Earth is flat?...
Just the other day I took closeups of the birds in Malaysia from Florida. Well, actually I didn't because the earth is round and it was nighttime in Malaysia. LOL
😂😂
Ben D. Ahh there’s no hway that it couldn’t be because of atmospheric interference and conditions ,your eyesight isn’t infinite (like nasa has you believing because of ‘light years’), and of course you actually haven’t done it.
60miles no curvature?!?!?!
Many more cases since the cameras evolution.
Don’t keep your mind closed mate!
@@mysticalmisfit33 The earth is very round and there is plenty of curvature. Sorry Jack, it is you who is blind.
How to price Camera
Máquina maravilhosa
I love a lot zoom... But you always face artifacts in the air if you go above 1000mm (equivalent) sometimes even Less. In that case the pictures simply doesn't look good. So you can simply stay with a regular zoom camera and grab for a bigger sensor. Gives you way more opportunities
Im craving for this camera.
