I think you're spot on with not going too strict on the diet or it will lead to falling off. You're making serious progress at a fast pace, congrats.
Thanks so much!! Yep, too strict, too long 95% of the time leads to reboundssssss
Good loss ! 20kg is a serious lightening!
Bro, they place candy in as many isles as they can in the stores ! And more varieties than ever!
But I avoided it all !
Going for a general lifestyle change on my end first. I used to be so hardcore when I was young... I just didn't know the best lifestyle for me back then so I was unknowingly self sabotaging.
Waking up on a Sunday without feeling the weekend binge bloat is great!
Thanks so much, yes it is a lot pretty darn fast!
Soo true, literally the end of every aisle there are candy, then when you get to the checkouts - even more of it!!
That's awesome!! Sounds like you got it down, and for sure!! No better feeling waking up feeling goooood
😂😂 the blue looks nice! i am implementing carb cycling once per week now and i am feeling much better! sounds like you have a great plan, congrats on the new low! 💪
after falling off track i realized it's better to be disciplined and keep carbs to one day (instead of excluding them entirely), because it will help (1) me form new habits and (2) learn not to be afraid of going off track, because i would like to eat more carbs during maintenance.
Sounds amazing!! You're doing exactly, what I intend to do! Being able to include them will essentially remove the 'Power' from them too. You know you can have them, just might have to wait a bit!! And that's it, they are nothing to be scared of, and as the weight comes off can add another day etc. Sounds like you got it down!!
1) cycling carbohydrates to end of your life?, 2) its not about calories its about carbohydrates 3)no matter if you are fat or not your muscle will cry out of glycogen at 1 day if you train,... ???
Hope I answer these right brother, and understood that you were asking questions.
1. Not necessarily for life right now, will do 30 days and see - However, I feel like I could do it for life. I've done it for months a time previously.
2. Calories at the end of the day are the most important thing. Eating in a deficit you will lose weight. Dropping carbs makes it easier for me to eat in a bigger deficit because Fat and Protein keep me full! I also thought I was pre-diabetic and being overweight I don't really need to many carbs. A Weekly refeed is the best of both worlds.
3. Yep good point, I doubt I'll burn through all the glycogen in 1 day, probably around 2-3 days. Then when I refeed again, my body will soak it all up and then burn through etc etc.
I was at 278 down to 263 in two and half weeks. I'm doing a crash diet and if you are worried about binge eating, I would add a cheat meal in the week. If I'm really craving a meal, I'll have it on a Friday and just have that meal be the "bad" meal. Even though I am I'm in a major caloric deficit, I don't feel the cravings all that much because I am addicted to the progress.
Let’s goooo bro !! Good tip too, even in a strict diet, including something here and there is keyyy for adherence
@@tomsharpefitness Yeah, I found a low calorie versions of most the snacks I like, food I make etc. It made the transition to a low calorie diet kinda easy to switch to. I recommended finding alternatives to food you crave to feed that craving. Kept me sane lol
Awesome advice bro, for sure! Definitely very useful
I’m interested to see how your new diet works for you 😁
Me too!! 😁😁 will be cool to document!
We’re so westernised aren’t we mate, I smashed it down in Cornwall for my birthday week (probably 5k/6k calories a day!) mainly because I didn’t want a surprised birthday party from friends and family, probably down to lack of self love from being overweight. Anyway bud got my steaks marinated for tomorrow’s big 30 days! You’re doing great btw! And you got me thinking.. you’re right! it is a mental game, it’s like you gotta stay one step ahead of your mind, because we all know it will eventually F you over if you don’t listen 😅
That's the time to smash it mate! Sounds like an amazing time. I hear that about the Birthday, sounds crazy but I was thinking similar about self esteem etc too. Mind you, even when I was pretty ripped, I still didn't like it lol. I just enjoyed going out and getting smashed 🤣🤣
Man those steaks sound good, and props to getting on it. That's the true balance. Having time off to enjoy life, and then just getting back on the wagon. Appreciate it man, and for sure. Literally all weightloss journeys and what not, fail at the mind!!
@@tomsharpefitness Ah cheers for the reply mate! And very true! Got day 1 behind me now! 😃 lots of steak and eggs yesterday, was a little more hungrier as for me it usually takes around 2 to 3 days to adapt to carnivore before my appetite suppresses. But so far so good!
Sorry didn't reply to this one bro! Yeah for sure, once you get past that initial bit the hunger really does go it's pretty wild. Getting past that day 1 is vital man, awesome.
How do you shit with 0 fiber?
Push really hard!! Messing, you’ll be weeing out your bum to start with then you adjust. Literally once a day upon wake up. Arguably some of the best bowel movements I’ve had for a good whole aha, tmi. A lot of research against fibre now too. I’m not here to dispute the evidence lol, can find conflicting studies on anything. I just know I feel no gut issues eating this way, it’s kind of wild
@@tomsharpefitness yea I went carnivore and my 💩 was just straight liquid I could not trust a fart no matter where I was 🤣
🤣🤣 Too true. It's weird how it can suddenly go to being normal though! Took me about 2 weeks tbh
