- I've been playing a lot of Call of Duty Modern Warfare recently And I've come to find out through playing hardcore games the the "Mk14 EBR" was just about my favorite gun. Semi automatic yet packed the punch! I started thinking to myself, I'll probably really like this gun in real life so here we are. My Springfield Armory M1A SOCOM 16 CQB.

Based om my knowledge of the game, and a bit of research. The in-game attachments are:
•Forge tac elite barrel
•Ranger foregrip
•20 round mag
•Aim-Op reflex sight
•FSS Raider Chassis Pro
When it comes to the camo, I'm not sure. The pattern reminds me of modern woodland, but the color reminds me of dark forest.
Please do more videos on this build. PLEASE!
That's actually my dream rifle lol.
ProTip: put a sling on that - it'll help you lock that stock to your shoulder and level up that Prestige rank.
Man, I see M1A videos and my heart says, "You need one of those." Then my brain says, "But you could get an AR 10 that's the same price and shoots so much better." Then my bank amount just laughs at both, and I still don't have either.
A .308 bull pup like the MDR and Tavor 7 is a far better choice than both.
@@mattandrews8528 kinda depends on the application for the rifle. I would agree that generally those bullpups will be better than an M14/M1A, but they don't lend themselves as well to long range precision work as the AR10 platform does.
@@QuitoQueso You say that, but a 16in .308 barrel is plenty fine at realistic ranges up to 500yds. And the MDR can quickly change barrels to a 20in 6.5creedmoor, that’s perfectly in the same league as other bulky AR-10’s. The bull pup is still the superior platform choice, it’s why so many nations field one or another from the UK, France, Israel, Australia, etc. I’ll be getting an MDR very soon, next month in fact, and I’ll be sure to get both barrels for long and longer range shooting in a much more compact and lighter platform than an AR10 or M1A and it’ll truly be a decent truck gun/cqb pdw style gun with its overall length being around just as short as my short barreled .300blk AR pistol.

I find it funny people complain about the Levi's shirt. Yet they consume all sorts of things by anti freedom companies and seem ok with it. Commenting on a CZcams video on their iPhone is a good place to start.

@@Bramblett89 honestly what sa did is no where as bad as what Ruger did to gun owners. Ruger basically stabbed all gun owners in the back supporting the AWB. But people seem to forget that. Or flat out choose to ignore it.

I have a M1A Socom II and a loaded M1A. They're great guns.
This takes me back to mw2 and after watching inception going all ebr on derailed the snow map. also props for playing Hardcore, softcore is for the softcore : D

I had an older M1A. it’s had one of the leftover chrome lined barrels Springfield bought up way back when. I sold it to an older marine friend who trained with M14’s.
I like the platform for what it is. I wish Springfield Armory would at least nitride the standards barrels since they don’t chrome line them. If you must have an M14 style rifle, look at Fulton Armory, James River or LRB. Pricey, but higher quality.

That paint job is badass
The second guy that shot the rifle did not appear to be shouldering it very tightly. His shoulder was not feeling too good after this haha. Every variant of the M14 in every game I've ever played all seem to be comparably awesome. I bought the gun for the exact same reason. It all really started with the M1 Garand in Medal of Honor Rising sun although, young me, didn't get the tactical downside of ring you get after your last round in your mag that tells the enemy that you need to reload haha.

I think, for me it should be the 18in one. Just for a little more speed from the rounds.

My M1A Blackfeather build is now a prohibited weapon in Canada. I had just finished building my one and only gun based on my favourite gun M14EBR too. It went from shoot it anywhere on crown land to never leaving my basement again... :(

Thomas Disell. Get a Archangel CQB stock. That what is on the Socm 16 in the video. I bought the Archangel CQB stock and it fit perfectly on my Scout Squad 18 in barrel. I love the rifle and you will too

We just got two ww2 garands in beautiful shape out of the Philippines and 2 m1carbines wood stocks in great shape original. Shoot like brand new. I love the evolution from ww2 to vietnam to korea to know. I feel those socoms have there place on every squad or team the m14 though heavy modernized weight reduced is a heavy hitter and can take down targets 556 can't

Thanks for sharing the Levi's status. Yes, they are anti gun to the extreme. With direct attacks in the past even. I havent bought anything Levi for 3 years at least. It use to be the only Jean's I'd buy for 50 years plus. Many hats, shirts and jackets over the years. Same with Nike! I almost always bought Nike shoes for almost 50 years. I was a distance runner and they worked well for me. I always liked their shirts. No more.

Have you tried any long eye relief scopes out on your M1A? I got a scout m1a and don't really like the mount over the rear iron sight.

I like these shorter versions of the M1A, but would need to move the site back to where the stripper clip is located.

Ever thought about shooting an RPD machine gun? Or the RPK, or PKM? Or even an Ultimax 100?
Never cared for the socon 16, that optic rail is attached directly to the barrel so it gets super hot very quickly, mine would get hot enough to leave an outline on my skin after only 3 shots, can't imagine that's good for optics
Can't be any worse than an ultimak AK gas tube and I don't know of any popular red dot that it'll kill
That is why like the AK, this has an optional side mount
@@Airplanetyson it came with the barrel mounted rail, I never bothered to put a scope on it. Not worth the extra money for a real mount
You can take it out and get the tanker top and switch it, and still if you want to mount a rear sight just get the rear attachment.
