I rented a prodigy at a range because I was curious about how it was to shoot. It was amazing, it had a halosun red dot and I must admit that I am still learning how, or figured it out on the range how to use on a pistol. I am versed in eotechs and acogs on M4’s, but the pistol concept was different for me. Anyway I loved it and now that I understand how to use the red dot on the pistol I want to transition to that for my every day carry in the differing applications. I still believe in “iron sights” and recommend being proficient in them first, but that’s my opinion. I was able to slow down at 7 and 10 yards and figure out the concept. The prodigy is sufficient and able to do anything you need it to in my opinion. I guess if you have never driven a Ferrari you are okay with a nice Audi. I am not the coolest guy on the internet either so what do I know about anything. TLDR.

Years ago, when i didnt know any better,i bought ultra cheap scopes. It was a very frustrating experience. They had tracking problems and i sent a number of them in for warranty. I dont have the money for $1k scopes, never mind $3k. My minimum is $200 to $300 optics and im always happy. Sometimes i spend more and those optics feels pretty fancy. The worst thing i notice about the more economic yet good value for the money optics is that the eye box gets really small and loses clarity on max magnification.

these are SUB MOA without suppressors, my POF revolution 18.5" 308 DI hits where ever the reticle is at 100yards, i move too much but it hits where ever I am aiming when I fire, I need less BOOM when she fires and less recoil would be nice so I want a suppressor that will be quiet so I dont have to have ears on for hunting and practice if i dont want to.
