hii could u post a video for beginners of everything u should know if u wanna start crocheting? like all the different stitches and different yarn or hooks? thanks!!
tysmm for the tutorial
O
you’re so clear and specific! i wish i had this video when i was first learning because it would’ve been so helpful. such a good video for beginners and experienced crocheters :)
Thank you so much for this tutorial! Your explanations were super clear and I think this is the fastest crochet top I've made so far so I'll definitely be making it again. I'll be looking forward for more videos❤
such a clear tutorial, making this as part of a set for my bestie’s bday
🫶🫶 thank you for watching
Finished this top very quickly! It was very easy to follow for a beginner. I made it a bit big but I was able to fold the back and made it work!
Thanks for this tutorial!! I just have advice for anyone making it, if you in the first row start with 8 dc instead of 10 dc (before starting the repetition) the row will also end with 8 dc instead of 6 and the top will be symmetrical the whole way!!
Does that change anything else for the rest of the pattern? Or do we just continue following like normal?
I just tried this, and for the 5th row, I ran out of room for the first hole
but why would this change anything i’m curious? my problem is that in the first row i keep ending with space for an extra sc (so i keep ending with space for 7 sc instead of 6) and i did everything correctly. i’ve tried this row three times already!
i just finished crocheting this today, and i love it!! Very easy tutorial to follow.
i love your tutorials i am in the middle of doing this one. i have already done did striped shorts tutorial and twist top tutorial. you are so good at explaining exactly how to do everything without it being complicated. definitely keep it up because your work is always so beautiful 💗
your tutorials are always so clear and i cant wait to try this flower pattern. i tried following a similar flower pattern by someone else and they were SO unclear i had no idea what i was doing so THANK YOU for this queen
🫶🫶 lmk if you have any questions!!
tip for everyone that i had to find out, on row 2, skip the first stitch that the chain 2 is coming out of or you'll end up with an extra stitch in the end of the row
amazing tutorial nonetheless i received tons of compliments!
omgg i wish i had read this comment earlier, i literally had to redo the first and second row SO OFTEN because i ended up with 7 stitches rather than with 6 at the very end of the row ☺️😀💀
@@B4HNGCH4N lol i made that mistake so much when i started and never understood why!
do you know if the steech is only into the back loop?
@@B4HNGCH4N sameeee
should've seen it earlier, i repeated it like 4 times bcause I couldn't get it right, and THEN when I thought it was good, I saw ypur comment, now I did it 5 times and FINALLY, I did it
i love this so much!! if anyone is doubting about making it, please do it. its so beautiful and soo easy
half way through! loving the top so far, and the tutorial! the flower part has definitely been challenging for me, but i’m also not very good at listening… anyways, i plan to finish this tomorrow on the drive to the beach! so excited to wear this on vacation. definitely subscribing! thank you anna!
🫶 thank you for watching! lmk if you have any questions
this tutorial is too good!! for 2 years i've been giving up on every new piece i try to make because something always ended up going wrong... but this video is so clear it made my crochet so easy, tyy!
this was so beginner friendly!! finished it in 5 hours and i love!!

GORLLLL THIS IS TAKING ME 3x as looong
this made me excited to tryyy
great tutorial, very easy to follow, i just finished the top and i love it, thank you so much !!
This is so cute!! Just bought some yarn, can't wait to try out this project♥️
Just made this and it’s SOOOOOOO pretty!!!! Took my about 3 days, but I’m a very slow crocheter, and have been pretty busy. I’d say it took me about 4 hours as a SLOW crocheter. I would imagine others would find it much easier and take even less time! I thought the instructions were very thorough, and unlike other tutorials, I was able to see exactly where I should be placing my stitches which was very helpful. Will definitely be making these in other colors!!
I LOVE IT!! I'm a beginner and wanted to crochet my first top and with this tutorial it was soo easy and your explanations were really clear! thank you 🫶🏻
So pretty 😍😍 this is gonna be my next project

The very first tutorial I watched was yours.
And now, when I returned to your channel, I saw this video, of course, nothing worked out on the first try, but I knew that I could connect it, so I came back. Thanks for the videos you make) you have a nice voice, so it was easy to listen to and watch the tutorial.

thank you SO MUCH! I did it and I loved it! You were so amazing to explain, and so sweet! I really loved your video, pattern, and Im so happy that I was able to do that because of your tutorial (Im new at crochet so it was my first work). THANKS! You're amazing.
🫶🫶🫶❤️
thank you so much for this tutorial!!
just finished making this top easy-to-follow video and steps. I used heavy-weight yarn and did the d cup one with two rows of 4 flowers. it was backless and a bit longer. so the heavy yarn worked out well for my body size I love it it came out great and did it in purple. I plan on doing a cropped one in yellow.
update made it in yellow and i'm obsessed with this top, love your vidoes
I know you commented awhile ago but were the two rows of flowers too long? I’m also using weight 4 yarn so my first row seems a bit longer than hers but I’m worried 2 may be too long. I almost need an in between like 1 1/2!
Too cute!!
this was a perfect tutorial! i can’t wait to make it for my trip coming up i appreciate it very much! thank you!!
thanks for watching!!
love the design ❤ also this was posted on my birthday
happy late birthday!!
Finished this in a day for a concert I'm going to this weekend.. soooo cute!! Thanks for sharing
🫶🫶
Hey, I’m making the A cup, and wondering if it should be flat in the starting stages of making it.. because mine is currently quite round
cup size runs a bit small. not sure if aus and us sizing is different but ive got to do way more rows than i bought. its comi g out SEWWW CUTE THOOO
how many did you added?
Hii, thank you for the tutorial! For the cups, are we doing hdc into the stitches (so front and back loop) or back loop only? It's a bit hard for me to see the angle. Thanks again!
im almost certain that she does back loops only!
great tutorial! just one note, at the begining after making the cups, u start making the actual top. For beginners its easyer to make the amout of chains that u need and then start with the dc. I did it that way and it worked perfectly
I finished my first row and at the end of row 2 instead of 6 stitches I had room for another 16 but when I started row 3 my increases so to speak didn’t meet at the holes am I doing something wrong?
I just made this in a teal colour and it's sooo beautiful and the tutorial was very easy to follow - it fits like a glove and is just lovely.
what should i do if the flower pattern piece has fewer stitches than the cups together piece?
I have this exact same yarn but I have yet to use it so this is perfect! Love your patterns 😊💕
🫶🫶🫶
making this for a concert and i’m already obsessed
Beautiful pattern ❤thank you 😊😊😊😊😊
thank you 🫶
YESSSSS I WAS WAITING FOR THIS THANK YOU SM
Thank you that was very clear. I'm still a beginner and this is my first successful clothing project :))
It is beautiful, Anna! 😍😍 Thank you for sharing it 🤗🤗🤗🌷🌷🌷 Regards from México 🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷
❤️❤️ thank you!
hey im trying to do the half double crochet but i dont really understand how to hook both sides of the chain, esp for someone who is left handed. Also when u go into each chain do u skip one? or do u do one after the other?
hey! it sounds like you’re new to crochet, you’ll definitely want to watch some videos showing the basics (and you can watch videos showing how to crochet left handed as well!) before jumping straight into a tutorial like this
Ughhh I’m so confused. I did a 96 foundation chain and I have the four sets of holes on round 2 but at the end I have a full 16dc and 2 leftover spaces???
So pretty!!! Added to my growing list of to be crocheted :)
aw yayy ❤️❤️
im confused at the start of row 2 are we skipping the first stitch and doing dc in the next one ?
Making this right now!!
yay!! lmk how it goes
hi i’ve already started with a 3mm and my C cup is wayyyy smaller than yours? and also really pointy… how do i fix this?
love this pattern! i’m on row 10 right now and unsure if i should continue because it’s so heavy 😭 was going to use this during the summer but because of how weighty and thick it ended up i’m not too sure anymore…
Hiii. How many rows do I do if I’m doing the flower pattern all the way around the back for a C cup?
This tutorial was AMAZING, thanks...💋🫶🏻💋 #love #lovetocrochet #crochettop
I think it needs to be a (multiple of 24) +4 so you can end the row with the gap tho complete a flower(+thegaps around it)
how can I do it if I want to continue the flowers through my back? like close the lower part of the back with flowers??
Love this tutorial! Thank you so much! How would i connect the back if i wanted it as one piece all the way around the back, and no straps? x
unfortunately with crochet you usually can’t make things fit exactly to your size with no adjustable ties because it isn’t stretchy enough. you could try making all one piece and connecting in the back but you would have to have your straps go from the top of the triangle over your back to the top of the back piece instead of tying around your neck or else the back part won’t stay up
i made the same size as yours but mine is smaller help idk if it will fit me i even added a few more rows on the cups
you're so pretty ❤ you remind me of elle fanning!
This Tutorial is so Good my Projekt Looks so deam Good i Love it
amazing thank u so much
alr i just made the first cup and it fits perfectly it’s just that the bottom of it isn’t entirely straight, but it curves naturally (similar to how my chest curves). i noticed that the bottom of your cups aren’t entirely in a straight line either so is it okay? or do i have to re-do it?
thank you so much for this video btw i literally love you 🫶
yes that’s totally fine!! it should curve some you just want it to be “straight” in the sense that it doesn’t have any increases on that side
THANK YOUUU
Hii tysm for this tutorial, it’s really clear.. just one problem. I’m connecting everything together and realised that my cups are bigger than the foundation flower thing so the cups don’t fit. That means I have to redo the foundation right ?
For anyone who had this problem too, my solution was to take out some of the cups and just and rows on the side
Hi, I have the same issue and I wonder I by doing this it won’t be baggy on the side of the cups if it’s not held by the bottom base ?
I am making this top and one cup is almost done but its not really straight like yours on the bottom. Its a bit round is this normal and if not how can I fix this?
hello! just wondering why you decided to not make the entire thing symmetrical. if you look the one flower has two holes on the outer edge while the other ends without those two holes. would adding 4 stitches to row 1 fix this? sorry if i missed it in the vid!
did you do it? can i add the four extra or
Be ause she messed up in the beginning. She started with 10 DC, instead of 8. If 24 stitches divided by 4 Dc sections
Hi i just finished crocheting the top and it was so easy make. I was wondering how i can add an extra support to the cups? 58:48
You could try doing double strands of the yarn that’s what I did and worked out well
So adorable 😍 l'm gonna make this top wen am done with my hand bag
❤️❤️
Hi, after the 96 hdc, we chain 2 and turn, does the chain 2 count as a stitch. And if it does, do i make 9 dc instead.
And also at the end i keep getting 7 stitches.
yes, the chain 2 counts as your first dc. so you do 9 more double crochets. and just make sure you’ve counted everything correctly and are paying attention to what I do, if you have it correct you should only have 6 at the end!
@anna-greene I'm sorry if this is bothersome, but I redid it and I'm still getting 7 at the end. Did you perhaps skip one after chaining 2
are you going into the very first stitch where you made the chain? because since it is counting as a stitch you don’t go into that with a double crochet as that would be doing two stitches into one
Hi so I have a question! When I am connecting everything I noticed the flower part has 124 stitches and the bottom of the bralette part has 106 so when I go to connect everything the way you did it bunches really weird and it no longer wraps fully around my torso anymore! I don’t know what to do and I’m trying to figure out a solution because I did five flowers for the torso part and it wrapped around my body but when I connect it, it’s not even, and looks weird and I don’t know what to do 😭😭
so far i love this crochet tutorial but i was wondering if i could stop crocheting the cup at 10 rows since my size is in the middle of b and c?
yes you can make it however big! the row numbers I give are just suggestions but whatever fits is totally fine
Beautiful
could i chain for the foundation row instead of going along?
you could! you’ll just chain and do the correct number of double crochets into the chains. just make sure you do the chains nice and loose
will i have to chain in multiples of 24 again?
Hi! i'm doing the first cup now but have a few questions :). Does only one side increase in stitches, while the other side remains the original number throughout? Also, when increasing, do you go into the same 'hole' each time, or is it just the same placement but in the stitch above ? I hope that makes sense :)
both sides increase the same amount! and you don’t go into the exact same hole each time, you go into the previous row’s second stitch of the increase each time with 3 stitches
@@anna-greene ahh thanks so much for clearing that up! now that i think about it that’s how it makes the triangle… thanks again!
i will try this
This might be weird but you're voice is lovely 🤍. And, I'm gonna try making this.
thank you 🫶🫶
@@anna-greene I just realized it's backless. How can I do this top without showing my back? I'm sorry I can't explain it clearly, English is not my first language 😅
Hii is it possible to connect it in the back without having to tie it?? I wanted to make it a bit more loose but im not sure if its going to look good :)
hi ! personally, i think this is 100% doable if you wanted to go for a closed back style
just make sure your foundation chain goes all the way around your torso (ofc scale the pattern to your body type, but i’d say you’d have to make at least 96 or 120 stitches in this row)
then slipknot the side edges together to have a completely closed back :)
Hi! Im stuck on making the cups! I need to make size A cup, the suggested rows for the A cup were way too small so I continued making rows, but my cup is very rounded on the bottom side and the cup itself is shorter and wide rather than straight on the bottom and the cup itself being taller. is this okay? should I continue with rows like this or did i do something wrong? Thanks!!!
I have the same problem, not sure if i should re do it or not. How did you do?😩
i'm having the same issue! did you ever figure out how to fix it?
@@lovisa9131 i ended up giving up on it😭 i’ll try again another time but i couldn’t figure out what to do
@@noelleluvsyou nope /: i ended up putting it down and starting something else
I had to do 168 foundation double crocheted row. I counted every stich and it's not adding up to what your doing can you please please, please help? I really love this top and really want to make it!
Hi! Is it possible to give the pattern just for each singular flower? (Just the 24 stitches) Because I did 5 flowers and the tutorial was not applicable since I have different stitches and I can’t figure out how to divide the pattern work for 5 flowers
I’m not sure if what you mean? this pattern would work for any number of flowers, 5 included. you just follow the repeat pattern I put on the screen until you reach the end and then follow my instructions
Great tutorial ! Do you think it would be okay to use polyacrylic yarn for this project ?
yes!!
