I began with this technique long time ago and I can assure that it works. And it's really important in order to achieve a personal way of telling a story, as Danny says.
I’ve never been interested enough in drawing people to really try and learn how to make them ‘people’. This is a super technique and I’m going to have a play so I can include some in my travel journal! Thank you 🙏🏻

You make people look so easy to draw people who are not stick figures or portraits. Thanks
I've always drawn people and can capture their likeness pretty good. Closer to a caricature but not as clean or stylised as something you'd get at a fair. More like something a child would draw but good enough for people to instantly recognize who it is. I always borrow facial features from different artists so what I'd like to do now is find my own style. The problem is I like so many.
