- I have now had Ty (the black and white pinto) for about 8 months and I couldn't be more in love with him! I love the power and energy he puts into absolutely everything he does. He's so much fun to work with! This is abit of a progress video for him and I and of course the girls strutted their stuff too :D
Ty's Spanish walk is improving and he is really starting to find his balance, coordination and power! At the moment he can offer 3 big steps in a row which I am over the moon about! This video also captured the very first time Ty laid down in the paddock on cue!!!
Nina and Calli are doing very well too! Nina and I are practicing more collection at liberty including the very beginnings of piaffe and collected canter. I am also working on transforming her Spanish 'Stomp' into a Spanish Walk by encouraging her to lift in the shoulders and move her forelegs in a controlled and balanced manner rather than just flailing :P
Calli is as majestic as ever (although slightly muddy on one side haha :P ). This video did not capture the new things we have been working on which has been mainly in-hand academic art of riding and exercises to help her become more straight in her body. But she was keen to show off her rearing and spanish.. stomp :P
