Ace's Journey

This is a video of Ace's journey from when I got him to today (February 8th). Unfortunately, I accidentally deleted the first 2 months of footage but it was basically just me trying to make friends with him in the paddock. I did not get the halter on until about 2.5 months into 'training'. He was just so frightened! By the first footage on the video, I had already worked with him 3 or 4 times just desensitisng so you can imagine how bad he was to start with the poor boy.
He has come so far and I am so proud him! He has taught me so much, its incredible. Unfortunately, we have to part ways next week as I am going to uni and would not have the time for him. Its devastating. BUT he is going to a lovely lady who also practices natural horsemanship, I could not ask for a better home for him.
I'll never let him go. We'll always be together at heart.

Let the wild horses be wild horses!!! Why do we humans always have to subdue what we want??? He was once free and now he's a trained doll (Compared to the freedom he had)!!! Thank you sweetness for taking him in!!!

Great work! How many days a week/ hours did you work with him in the time that you had him?

Thanks! Probably about 3-4 times a week. 30 minutes to an hour a session :) And alot of just spending time with him in the paddock!
