I laugh when people say you can't ride those old Harleys anymore. I ride my 1942 Knuckle more than the 06 Softail. There's nothing like kick starting an old motor over on the first kick as you hear everyone around you commenting about the old bike that they think won't start.

I know its years later but did you get the mikuni throtle cable to work with stock plunger in the handlebar?
